The World Cup in November or December will kill it.
It will be how the South Africa one was, shit.

Brasil was shit as well....

Russia has been the best since 2002

Thanks, that is what I was saying, so why complain when teams from all over the world are included and the competition is on different continents. Pretty simple.

Canada,
Football is easily the biggest sport worldwide,no other sport foes remotely near.ive got no idea what you're waffling on about .

What a fucking soppy question to post in the middle of a current world cup, and who fucking cares.

Re: your 240 qualifiers for whenever it gets shared between Death Valley and Central Australia
People like to poke fun at other sports because they are not world-wide competitions. If we want football to be actually be that we can't complain when it goes around the world and includes less skilled non-European/South American teams.

The corruption thing is another story.

Bubbles Cyprus,
Not a dig mate, but seeing as you're experienced.
How much to eat well in a tidy hotel and allow 10 pints a day for a week?

My point remains.
Some of the posters on here may well work in odd places and no doubt get paid royaly for doing so.I work in construction in London have three kids and a happy home lifeish and do alright financially .
Do they have a football team?
Is it accesseble for anyone other than stinking rich?
Will it be a nause for top European leagues to work round?
It's a two bob shithole of a gaff that shouldn't be considered to hold a competition of this magnitude.
A few dodgy fuckers in Fifa have been paid off, there ain't no two ways about it.
Bizzare.

Re: your 32 qualifiers for Qatar 2022
I must admit I didn’t hold out great hopes for this World Cup given the Russian fans performance at Euro 2016 but I can’t think of a better one since I’ve been watching.
I agree that Qatar will throw enough money at 2022 to make it succeed.
32 teams is BLOATED though. Will only work with 3 games a day so it doesn’t drag

Re: your 32 qualifiers for Qatar 2022
People slagged off Russia when they were awarded the World Cup and it’s turned out to be one of the best in living memory.

I’ve no doubt that Qatar will be great too. It will be very different as I think it takes place between November and December 2022 but the organisation and everything will be spot on and I’m sure it will be brilliant. They all are.

Winter World Cup thanks to a FIFA bung

No way did they not check the summertime weather or law where no work is allowed outside after 11 am until 3:30pm when the weather 50+ an unbearable humidity.

I was doing walkthrough inspections of new viaducts in that weather obeying the law and I still ended in hospital on a drip with heat exhaustion on 2 occasions

Been to Doha many times on business far from being a shithole but very much you get what you pay for.At the time I was privileged with a Corporate American Express Card staying at Doha Sheraton.

The richest country in the World per Capita. I worked in Doha for a year last year. Doha is far from a shithole.

They are sparing no expense for the World Cup Building a new Metro, stadiums, roads etc it is impressive to see the amount of work going on,

When I was there the Emir had the Red Arrows in for his Birthday party so they are not short of a few Bob

Re: your 32 qualifiers for Qatar 2022
5 Teams from Africa that have good players but absolutely no Management or tactical nous. These teams always provide a good story about how they are not receiving their bonuses and a player strike is imminent

5 teams from Asia to make it look like a global event and if they get more than 2 wins between the lot of them (unless it is hosted in Asia a la 2002 when they are Fifa/refereee assisted in keeping a host country in the event to keep the locals interested, usually placed in a group of life, dodgy penalties etc) these two wins, at best, justify to their apologists their presence at the event

3 Teams from Concacaf unless the event is hosted there when they get half a dozen to act as cannon fodder for the better sides and also to allow them practice the art of how to defend yourself from being assaulted by thugs

5 from South America to ensure the dark arts of the game survive, diving and throwing yourself around the pitch and to give sides like Columbia the chance to take the mantle of "the New uruguay" and to spare the referees the feeling of being isolated on the pitch by constantly surrounding him. Also gives Brazil and Argentina a run out to display star studded midfields and forward lines and no clue how to defend.

14 of the best sides in the world

Re: your 32 qualifiers for Qatar 2022
It's mind boggling how a two bob shithouse dump in a desert at the arse end of the world was ever awarded to host the biggest sporting event on the planet ahead of the country that invented the fucking game.
I'd struggle to think of a least suited country.Dare I say a few brown envelopes were involved.
