Glorified training session and already my laptop has the distinct whiff of soiled wet knickers about it! See where we are in a few weeks time, don't have a breakdown yet.

Re: FC Winterthur v West Ham United (today)
Like I said earlier. Losing this match underlines just how bad some/most of our players are. The club has been run badly over a couple of years, and this is the result.

The result shouldn't shock anyone though as Pelle was given a first glance at what he has to work with. Several, if not half, of the players playing will be told to leave.
Several, and maybe as many as 5, new players will come in.

Be calm, wait 3 weeks and then we can start judging.

...and...the best thing is Pellegrini knows that, hence the scramble to sign so many new players

Liverpool played Chester on Saturday

7-0, despite half of their team not back yet

Every pre season we play this noddu teams and we never trounce them, every pre season we get that same excuses form the club and from some C&B blinkered fans...."they are further down their pre season than us"..." it was too hot"....."it was just a kickabout"

This mob we played were Swiss 2nd division last season.

Goes a long way to explain that the majority of our squad are just not bloody any good

That's two in two for Huggy, stop the search for a striker right now

It’s a training session
Should be behind closed doors with no score kept.

TBF, their season starts 3 weeks before ours.

I can’t imagine that Winterthur were any more advanced into their preseason than us, not that I’m bothered but why are we always so shit?

It would be nice if we didn’t lose these games, but there’s not a lot you can take from the result.

Loads of academy players given a chance, but I hope they are not going to be judged on one match.

Standard first game of pre season

Best to be hoped for is everyone comes through with no injuries

Glad it’s kicked off though, excitement for the new season starts to build from here!

Perfect result.
Adds to the conclusion that players have to be sold and bought.

The team in 3 weeks time, and how they play in 3 months time will be interesting.

We are always shit pre-season. That was little more than a training session

Saw about 2 minutes via a youtube stream. Looked like somebody filming another youtube stream through their phone to bring it to the masses "Live & Exclusive"

Two Geordie cunts in their front room talking about it (not commentating). One berating West Ham for playing without any intensity!!

Jesus wept.

Noble pen

Decent work by Samuelsen and Hugill to get it.
