Robert Snodgrass, an unlikely contributor to the forthcoming season?
To be honest I had forgotten we'd only loaned Snodgrass to Villa, now he is back in the fold.

Pellegrini has played him in both preseason fixtures to date, against Wycombe he showed all the failings of previous outings shying over when it seemed easier to score.

Does Robert stand a chance of making the cut in our much enlarged and improved squad or are we getting him fit to sell?

If you wanna say Spice Girls in a Scottish accent, just say “space ghettos” in an American accent.

So glad the bloke is embarrassing Tits MaGee with style - the classless, talentless hanger-on cunt. Don’t hold your breath waiting for an apology mind.

He's playing further up the pitch of late where he will be more dangerous. Just think that both Snoddy and Zab have been running themselves into the ground iof late and having Diangana there with younger legs will be if benefit. Bring Carroll on after 60 mins or so.

You need to see the entire, uninterrupted celebration to get what I mean, but like I said, perhaps it was nothing at all.

"Think he and Zab will have their work cut out against Sessignon tomorrow"

To be fair, that is what the general wisdom was about Zaha, last week.

We can and should just out score them.

Hopefully I don't put a curse on it now, but what has the lad done this season to warrant that statement?

I remember a few posters on here saying Southgate fucked up the world cup squad by not picking him. I've not seen loads of him, but from what I have seen, I'm not sure at why everyone is so mental on him.

Watch him have a blinder now!

Mate, I've just watched the highlights twice, and I can only see Arnie looking well chuffed that Chicha had scored, and then pointed at Snodgrass in a way I read as "Top pass!"

Are you thinking of another match?

Working his way into a permanent fixture . Think he and Zab will have their work cut out against Sessignon tomorrow . He can play a more central role and allow Diangana to play on the right. Giving more pace down the right,Snodgrass can then thread balls through to the attacking runners, think he has another goal coming.

Speaking to Leeds fan at work earlier who was genuinely pleased that he was doing well for us, and gutted that they’d ever got rid of him.

I think he’s been held in high regard wherever he’s played, not just because he’s a decent player, who will always put a shift in, but he comes across as an all round decent bloke too.

Glad I'm not only one . Cholo. I love his football. He wants to be the main man. Attention. No worries. But he is in it for him. Maybe it is the Spanish Latin American clique we have all skilful. Maybe the Felipe deal made him feel less stock.
But it's all in the passion. And you can't fake it 24/7 The odd game yes.
I pray Marko gets his form and injury sorted. Even Man U ain't a step forward. Maybe off the field bonding with Felipe the pea and all and give him a boost he is wanted.
Watch the Snodgrass when we score. Genuine. Claret and blue blood transfusion.

I haven't seen it mentioned on here, but when snoddy set up chicha for his first v Newcastle, Marco seemed to have the hump with Robert for some reason during the celebration, as if he was pissed he hadn't passed to him instead, although I might be misinterpreting the situation, whatever it was, it was an odd moment to have a go at a teammate.

Re: Robert Snodgrass, an unlikely contributor to the forthcoming season?
Without any gay puns. Watch his face when we score, whether he assists or not. He's genuinely happy. Chuffed for the player who scored. As does Rice. It's nothing fake. He's got a genuine buzz about him. His job is to deliver quality passes and he does. He has a personal mission I think to really rub it into the Sullivan's. MP is managing him well. I love Marcos football. But I feel when he doesn't score or see players performing better he has a sibling rivalry kind of sulk. Obviously not when he scores. It's like the more Felipe is showing his worth that Marko isn't in the highlight so to speak. But Snodgrass we have our token Scot who seems to love playing in claret and blue and has a good bond and worth ethic with the team.

Snoddy is becoming a mini cult hero.

Looks a great lad, comfortable on the ball, hardworking, liked by the other players and now recognised by us the fans. Chips in with a beauty of a goal!
Well done Robert Snodgrass.

He's a players player.
Does a lot of donkey work that goes unnoticed.
One of the first names on the team sheet.
Really pleased for him and he looks like he's really enjoying his football.

Superb first important goal today which spurred us on. Fantastic chipped pass putting it on a plate for Perez against the sheep fuckers for the first quality.
