Who gives a shit? I hate West Ham half the time and I'm a lifelong fan.
I don't CARE enough about most other teams to "hate" them. Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham I make exception for.
The rest are just tedious twats who wish they were as much fun as WHUFC. If I found myself declaring "hate" for Burnley, Southampton or someone, I'd be insane. Oh.

Most people I have met down the years that are not West Ham fans are generally positive when I tell them I support West Ham. I think genuine football fans acknowledge that West Ham are a club with a very rich tradition and heritage within the game, albeit with little success.
I think smaller clubs especially from oop Norf hate us for that and think that us supporters belive ewe are something we aren't. And that we see ourselves as bigger and better than them for that fact.
Well the truth is we are. West Ham are a very romantic football club. We have a truly rich history and are very much part of the fabric of the success of the British game. The bottom line is that West Ham are a much more attractive football club that many clubs in Britain. Many other clubs supporters can't understand, or in fact, refuse to acknowledge that.

I can imagine Chelsea fans saying they are hated out of jealousy. The newer generation of glory hunters anyway.
I can think of a few reasons why people would hate us: scum owners, the publicity over the ground, Tevez & Mascherano etc. We also have possibly the mouthiest set of fans in the division, especially on a cockiness:success ratio..
But ultimately, no one else matters. So if they don't like us, fuck'em.

Having said that, I can’t believe that Spurs aren’t more hated. The fans are without doubt the biggest wankers in the world when it comes to talking about football.
The only reason I can think of is because of the number of England players and because they play attractive football.

One has a little stadium (albeit very nice) with a neutrals zone
And the othe has chosen BRIGHTON to be it's main rival even though it's a London club and name their support 'Ultras'.
All thats left is the 'entitled' cunts club's that think anyone who tries to take them on and not hand over 6 points a season is a club to hate.
The only ones i might have a bit of time for is the Geordies as they are still managing to be a 'onlyone club to support' city.
