Any Professional Painter/Decorator
Which is the best paint to use for decorating a bedroom wall, ceiling and skirting board.

Is it Dulux or could I go with Crown or even a DIY brand
such as Wickes

I need Emulsion and Gloss

Thanks

little green or mythic are the best quality..little greene are very classic colourways...

matt emulsion hides small imperfections on walls.gives a nice flat finish.but isnt hardwearing...if kids about forget it.

swerve the high brands if you can affortd it..false economy....Crown is utter pony...3/4 coats of that shit..thats a lot of paint.. and dough.

if you choice high st...i rate johnstone trade as the best..in emulsions and water based primer/undercoat..and eggshell/gloss.

add a small amount of floetrol or a decent thinner to the top coat for a lovely finish.

top tip

prep properly..and the old fashion tack cloths are still the best

You may not have thought it possible for a thread of this nature, but this will eventually descend into a row.

It's just the way WHO is. People inevitably become overcome with emulsion.
