All or nothing Man City
Not seen any other posts on this, if there is feel free to lock this or of course c*nt me off given it's about another club....

Anyone else watched this on Prime? Whilst a bit contrived in places and obviously bias in some of the match commentary thought it was a great, albeit depressing insight into why they are so successful. Very well run top to bottom, great engagement with the youth players, proper long term planning etc.

Also whilst arrogant, it's clear to see why Guardiola is such a top coach.

We will always be a million miles behind the top clubs until we get proper owners...

Never heard of this but from the descriptions on here it sounds absolutely awful.

Always going to divide this one. He's obviously got an arrogance about him, but to be fair he can back it up. I don't mind it personally. Given the ego's that could fester in that dressing room I think it's more about him showing he's in charge.

Not many top managers who don't is there?

Leroys if that's aimed at me then it couldn't be further from the truth, I thought he was an egotist at Barca and got found out a little at Munich, but the British being what they are love to suck up to the latest thing so if that's what floats your boat then crack on

It's mainly a bunch of grown men kissing, cuddling and high fiving each other like a bunch of fucking fags. That aside, some interesting 'bits' which give a rare glance behind the scenes, etc. They have an incredible set up there and are certainly here to stay.

It's just fashionable, in vogue, or "right on" to counter the majority view and "hate" something that is widely popular....makes people look or feel "edgy" !!!

Re: All or nothing Man City
To be fair i've seen him snap at journos or be abit blunt but most of the time the journos ask him a stupid question or one where he is only going to give one answer. If i was him i'd get pissed off with people asking me stupid questions.

In his view its a waste of his time, time he could put to use focusing on the next opponent because he is a born winner. In the doc aswell he comes across as teaching everyone the same.....be it the dinner lady, the media people the kitman or the youth squad. He looks to create a winning ethos amongst the whole club, its envious to watch as a football fan

Re: All or nothing Man City
Rossai imho & from what I've seen and heard in his interviews, he's aloof & looks down on people and dismisses questions when put to him, his press conferences these days sound like a bunch of lackies massaging his ego

Still he's not alone in being an arrogant cunt, hell there's loads on here

genuine question this...

How is he arrogant?

Re: All or nothing Man City
He is very intense and like all the big managers the facade falls when they lose and he is a bit of a sulk.
I don’t think it’s his place to be grabbing opposition players and giving them advice/comments about anything.
Have noticed he also doesn’t show a lot of respect for teams that don’t try and play like his.
Get the impression he ranks us in as one of ‘big’ ‘physical’ teams that don’t pass.
And he is always condescending about teams that try and beat them by frustrating them.
As if everyone should follow the Pep Way

Re: All or nothing Man City
boelyn8420 pretty much go along with that, I have no discourse with Man City, but that could easily have been Bristol Rovers or Walsall so can have no respect for anything they achieve and look at the the likes of PSG, Man City, Chelsea etc as clubs/owners who have destroyed a game I once loved

Oh and I dislike Guardiola, seriously what grown up can call him Pep, as he comes across as an arrogant cunt, loved to have known what he honestly said to Nathan Redmond, as Redmond's response didn't loo that of someone who was being given learned advice

Sven Roeder 3:02 Tue Sep 11
Re: All or nothing Man City
He doesn’t need to but it would be interesting if he did.
Obviously once you have won things you get into that little group with the likes of him , Mourinho, Ancelotti etc where you just go round the big teams with better players and lots of money.
Who knows what Guardiola will do after this
I wouldn’t be surprised if he does another 3 or 4 years and then knocks it on the head completely

Re: All or nothing Man City
Oh do fuck off. We are so close, so close. Very dramatic apart from the fact that they needed 2 points from 6 games to win the title. Yawn. We must fight for everything, evry point. Again very dramatic if they wern't already 3-0 up at half time and 12 points ahead of their nearest rival.

What a load of X-Factor, Made in Chelsea styled crap about a Northern team who I don't give a fuck about.

Sven... the thing is Pep is sooooo good he doesn’t need to go to a shit club . Also , he improves players beyond recognition. Fuck me , I reckon I could play in the prem after a half time talk from him !
Excellent programme and recommend the all blacks one too . Love these behind the scenes documentaries.

Someone has to win the league and it won’t be us.
I like Man CITY and it’s no question that I’d rather it was them than :
Man Utd - CUNTS
Liverpool- Murdering CUNTS
Chelsea - Utter CUNTS
Spurs - CUNTS SQUARED

I’d still like to see Guardiola take on a poor club and do what he does on a budget

Ditto

have no problem at all watching City destroy other teams, apart from West Ham of course.

I'll always watch them if they are playing, I pick and choose what games I watch

Ignore Man Utd, just so dull

Yeah that ginger kid is very annoying.

Only thing I find a bit strange (although not surprised) is how they don’t seem too fussed about a players english. They also talk in Spanish a lot of the time.
