To be clear none of their team is suspended.

(on a side note, from that web page: does Steve Mounie go by just "Steve"?)

Very pleased that we won two on the bounce but to do it vs Colin was even better.
The game also showed why it is embarrassing that Deccers hasn't got a new contract yet and how he keeps maturing.

What a fucking player Declan Rice is though. Covers the ground like fucking Kante (I may have had a DRINK...last night) and can pass it too.
I fear him and the MONSTER that is Issa Laye Lucas Jean Diop may not be with us in the long term, but if we can get another season or two out of them, well let's just enjoy watching them.
As for Anderson, when was the last time we had a player who can give a killer pass like that ? Genuine question, he has his faults but I've not seen too many in the C&B with that particular ability...

Zabaletta coming back Saturday you would think although stopping Zaha is going to take more than 1 player and lets face it Zabs is not as quick these days. Will be interesting to see how Pellegrini will set up to nullify him and Townsend who are their main threats.
Would like to see "The General" back alongside Diop ( hopefully ). Could we push the left footed Ogbonna to left back or risk Arfur up against Townsend and Zaha ( Zaha switches flanks a lot)?
To be fair, Arfur looked fairly comfortable and did a decent job defensively easing his man off the ball but his instinct is always to try and play his way out which is good but sometimes sees him give it away in deep lying areas. His positioning is his other flaw. Gets caught the wrong side of the ball but again because he is always looking to get forward.
Palace will be a much sterner test and you would think we will have to improve defensively. It depends how Woy sets them up. In a way we seem to do better against teams that take the game to us ( City the obvious exception). Cardiff's bodies behind the ball were difficult to break down and really only defensive mistakes ( dreadful non clearance by their two defenders for the first goal for example) opened the door and then they had to come out and leave themselves more open.
Without Arnie's strength up top we are going to rely on Anderson. Snodgrass and to a lesser extent Noble to unlock teams with their passing / vision and while Perez is reasonably quick he , like Hernandez, is lightweight. Also, Little Pea's passing and layoffs were dreadful last night. He does all his good work in or around the penalty box or 5 yard area so you can understand why manager's often use him as an impact sub as he does not really get involved in link up play in most games. Then again, he is a darn sight sharper than Carroll who is 3 or 4 games short of fitness and sharpness and who appears not to fit the Pellegrini passing game?
Its really hard to know how the Palace game will go but it will be a real test of the squad as our players continue to drop like 9 pins :-(

In all his years in football Neil hasn't taken in the fact..........that is what the good teams do to you.
Beat you at a canter when playing averagely.
It took one slick pass to beat them the rest was down to them failing in their tactic of spoiling the game and wasting time .....all good IF you don't concede after that the main gate was breeched.

How delusional? Could have been 5 or 6 bar some fine saves from their goalie and poor finishing from us. A 3-1 score line flattered them massively.
No doubt he Will also be wondering how on earth they possibly managed to be relegated come May.

Uncharted territory; 3-0 after 60 minutes. Sit back and enjoy the remaining 30.
Cardiff were well beaten. They produced little.
