Re: 2019 Movies
Avengers endgame was fucking awesome. Not perfect, I had a few gripes. But it certainly stuck the landing

Well done

Watched Creed II the other night. Format too tired now and would have been better if Stallone and Lundgren had stepped into the ring!!

Green Book, top notch, Viggo is absolute quality.

Cold Pursuit - Typical Neeson film with an added quirk throughout. Enjoyable

I really enjoyed The Dirt, and I’m not a Motley Crue fan. Well worth watching.

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody on a flight the other night. Generally enjoyed it, especially the Wembley sequence, but the scripting was poor and the guy that played Freddie looked like one of those shrunken heads.

Watched 'The Mule' on a flight the other week. If you need boring to sleep, it's well recommended.

I saw Us and didn’t think it was that good at all.

Re: 2019 Movies
Us. Yeah, liked it a lot, but ....
Not as tight as Get Out, and too much dialogue in places. Very layered film as it’s straightforward zombie/bodysnatcher stuff on one level but also loads of refs to American politics and music/films. Done very well at the US box office but might be marmite here for a UK audience who don’t get all the refs.

Re: 2019 Movies
Soundtrack aside, the Motley Crüe film was fucking shit. The book is far, far better. Read that instead.

Re: 2019 Movies
DC's new Shazam movie, featuring the proper Captain Marvel has got extraordinarily good pre-release reviews.

It seems, following the disaster that was Batman v Superman, they've chucked out all 'dark' nonsense that they tried to force on their 'light' characters.

Christopher Nolan made three great Batman films, but he has a lot to answer for.
