Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
Seemed to suggest he wasn’t injured or expected to come off, what do you think, off this month?

His brother again trying to force away a move.

Last time around Arnie come out saying he knew nothing about it.

When your agent is your brother you know about it and probably instigated it.

I like Arnie. He suits us well but dont fall for his beating the badge when he scores shit. If a bigger club came sniffing he would be pushing for it big time.

Maybe MP has just had enough of him going down at least once a game and decided to start taking him off every time he does it?

One of the reasons I love Pellegrini. He don't care about big personalities, if he wants you off, you're off, no matter who you are

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
From my hospitality seat above the tunnel it appeared he was not so much upset at being taken off but, because he wasn't taken off earlier with his back injury

May have been a bit of a communication issue. But at the end of the day he scored a goal and they never looked like beating us so, as he has just come back, it made sense.

He’s going to tear the gooners a new arsenal.

That’s all you need to think about right now.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
It was heat of the moment stuff. He shouldn't of reacted as he did, but there you go.

As others have said, it shows that he cares. Im sure that's the end of it. We should be grateful that he isnt actually injured.

Love his passion and his desire to stay on the pitch he shouldn't have shown it in that way. It's bad news if he thinks he's bigger than the manager and the club.

I love Arnie but I'm ok with us selling him for 50 million and getting 2 players in.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
He wasn’t asking to come off. Nasri was the one telling Pelligrini that he should come off, that’s the bit that seemed strange. Just all seemed a bit strange.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
He might be our best striker and he might have thought it wrong to bring him off.
But his constant showing off is getting on my tits.
Pelligrini is a vastly experienced manager and knows what he's doing.
So Mr big bollocks that was an embarrassing thing to do in front of 50000 people.
You're better than that.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
He often walks around like he's got an injury and is on the verge of breaking down and then he bursts into speed and outmuscles a 6'4" centre back.

He's a funny one is Arnie. Definitely tight to bring him off yesterday though, we've got bigger fish to fry and at 1-0 up at home we should have been looking to win as we did.

Good move.

Arnauntovic was great taking the team on his shoulders when we were steering clear of relegation, but if our goals are loftier, he has to be willing to not be the one and only man a lot of the time.

STORM IN A TEA CUP

Keeps him fresh for Arsenal
Can take out his frustrations by smashing a hat-trick past the Gooner cunts

"we were pretty comfortable in the match"

Not sure about that

El Scorchio 3:59 Sun Jan 6
Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
He'd got his goal, we were pretty comfortable in the match, and Pellegrini was confident we'd win without him, which is why I think maybe he was yanked early, or at least earlier than he might have thought he would be.

No need to risk the star man, especially with him coming back from injury, clearly already up to speed form-wise and the Arsenal game coming up.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
If he was off to Man U as some have suggested, Pelle would have kept him on the pitch and not given a shit about his 'twinge'.

He did the right thing. And Arnie being pissed off is a positive sign, not a negative one.

He was feeling his hamstring just after he scored he has take one for the team on this occasion

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
I love Arnie but he should never do shit like that whether it was a mistake bringing him off or the correct thing to do should not come into it he is our Golden boy and needs to be protected the Pel makes the decisions.

Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
Just watched Pellegrini's post match interview on skysports and Arnie's substitution was the correct thing to do imo as he complained of a slight back problem before the game and had also recently come back from an injury, good decision Pellers.

Huffers 10:01 Sat Jan 5
Re: Arnie, gesture/attitude when he was subbed
It was weird. Nasri kept signaling to the bench that Arnie needed to come off because of his back. Nobody communicated with Arnie at all and they just took him off. He went down the tunnel but came back out after a shower. He then watched the second half upstairs and stayed until the end.
