Our home record against Arsenal
It’s 12 years since Marlon Harewood slid in in the last minute to score the winner.
While Wenger took a swing at Pardew.

That’s our only home victory this century in 16 attempts and the first since Di Canio turned Keown inside out in 1999.

About time , innit?

BEST day out v Arsenal EVER...

The magic of Dicanio stitching Keown, poor old Foe (RIP) sent off, and the crazy Vieira / Razor incident... tell me what we have now compares with this..?

Yet another classic example of the "BIG CLUB" getting the decision that ultimately killed the game

Can't believe it's 12 years since the Harewood goal vs Arsenal.

From Jan 2017:

West Ham may find themselves cursing their luck after Sofiane Feghouli's red card from the weekend was overturned - the fourth time in the last five instances they have seen a straight red rescinded.

A clash between Phil Jones and Feghouli in the 15th minute of Monday's game against Manchester United led to referee Mike Dean sending the Algerian international off.

Remember that 1999 game. 2-1 and Di Canio taking the piss, brilliant.
Also remember the 2-2 game in 2003 that we drew after being 2-0 up and missing a pen. Kind of set the tone for that season and we were relegated.

I think we have the best chance in years to take them apart, they are also a work in progress under a new manager and have been made to look pretty ordinary at time this season. Should be a good game and here’s hoping!

Last time I saw us beat them at home was the Brady match. Best half time entertainment ever.

I'd love us to be the first to win at the new tottenham gaff. The delay is making it more possible.

In our 3-2 win at Everton they had a pen at 2-0 that was a yard outside the box
Plus I think we had several sendings off ie Kouyate v Palace at home which were rescinded later as nonsense

That last game at Highbury was a fucking brilliant night. Sol losing the plot was hilarious.

Talking of beating them away I love reminding their fans that we were the last team to win at Highbury and the first team to win at the Emirates.

Yet our away record against them is excellent.... I have seen us win 7 or 8 times I reckon...

Fuck me, since a 3-1 win in 1987, we've beaten them at home TWICE.

Twice in 32 years!!

1999 (2-1)
2006 (1-0)

Lato - agree we didn’t get the rub on a number of occasions, even remember Sir Alex predicting we would make top 4!

Great season marked by some outrageous cheating refs against us

Agreed around that early spring time particularly
.
1)Mancs in the cup Schwienstiger (spelling ) bundles Randolph into the net in the build up to their equaliser.

2) Away to Chelsea our wall from their 1st equaliser looked at least 12 yards away. The 2nd equaliser a foul on Loftus-Cheek clearly outside the area was deemed a penalty.

3) A dubious sending off of Kouyate (that was later rescinded) when leading 2-1 at home to Palace

4) Another home team decision at Champions elect Leicester in the dying moments when leading 2-1

Have I missed any?

Our home wins have been as rare as rocking horse shit over the years.
Marlon's winner, before that Di Canio, before that...... erm...... I remember Cottee, Pike and Paul Allen in 1984/85.

Payet took the ball off a defender on the goal line and goal was disallowed on the basis of a ‘foul’
Given Lanzini was a yard onside when he scored we should have been 5-2 up when Payet scored.

Lucky we have Jonathan Moss tomorrow eh?
