Liam Plunkett has played 2 50 over games after his big money move to Surrey
7 overs for 67
6 overs for 57

Archer just needs to roll his arm over and be able to bowl 10 overs rather than 4 and he is in.

The right decision to give Archer 5 games against Pakistan to prove himself

Named in the West Indies squad instead?

Archer left out of world cup squad

The batsmen probably aren’t bothered if Archer plays
Probably in favour
The bowlers probably weren’t bothered if Jennings played

It’s a selfish game

Re: England Tour of West Indies
the same cunts calling it IMMORAL were happy to line up alongside that useless wanker, jennings

Re: England Tour of West Indies
He was asked if it was fair that he might replace someone who has been in the squad for 3 years.

‘Fair probably is not the right word’
‘It probably wouldn’t be fair ,morally , but at the same time it’s the nature of international sport’

Willey and Wood weren’t that diplomatic but they are probably some of the players possibly about to have their dreams and hopes dashed by an INTERLOPER who has played 14 One day games

Clearly, some people read the sensationalised headline and didn't read the actual content of what Woakes said.

Re: England Tour of West Indies
I’ve just read what Woakes said, I don’t personally think it’s that bad if you read the whole article.

Re: England Tour of West Indies
I mean whats so immoral about it? Picking players on performance merit? Archer has been a very good bowler for a while, isnt that how you earn a callup?

Seems like other players are just bitter that he’s going to be coming in at their expense and one of them will miss out on the world cup

Alex G 7:29 Tue Apr 16
Re: England Tour of West Indies
Don't think much of Woakes and other members of the England squad saying it wouldn't be moral to pick Archer.

Not exactly going to create a good atmosphere in the squad for the a new call up.

Re: England Tour of West Indies
Jofra Archer doing the business yet again!

Does he walk straight into the england team? Clearly would become our best bowler but other players have already expressed their views against him being selected immediately, mostly other bowlers who are probably worried about their place in the world cup squad

Doing a good job of it
72 off 27

Don’t think the Gayle runs much these days

Pollard in now to try and lose some cricket balls

*more interested*

information?

Re: England Tour of West Indies
sven, before Rahul unleashed some big hits, he was more information interested in rotating the strike and you could tell Gayle wasn't interested so it was only a matter of time

Re: England Tour of West Indies
I see Gayle got cut off in his prime ... 63 off 36 with 7 sixes

great century from RAHUL

Re: England Tour of West Indies
West indies could be a decent bet for the world cup they seem full of huge hitters, just maybe lacking the top bowlers as they all seem to be all rounders, even narine smashes the ball now, sure he used to bat 11

crystal falace 1:56 Sat Apr 6
Re: England Tour of West Indies
Helps that the RCB stadium is very very small i mean lynn hit one literally out of the ground earlier in the innings, i was going mad at the tele the way khartik was just fannying singles thought they hadnt left russell enough time with 65 needed off the last 4 overs, then they got it with an over to spare!

VirginiaHam 10:28 Fri Apr 5
Re: England Tour of West Indies
Didn't have the feeling many of Russell's shots came out of the middle of the bat. Serious muscle and bat speed, mixed with some deftness.

How he got that ramp (?) behind him (ie fine leg) seemed to defy physics.
