England are playing a t20 on Sunday against Pakistan for some reason
Then play 5 ODI’s against them from May 8 to 19
Availability of players subject to who is serving secret drugs bans of course

England should meet India in the final as they are a step ahead of the rest.
Result could come down to the state of the pitches and the weather.
Lots of hot weather could mean some slower dusty pitches by the end of all these games where every team plays the other 9 before the semi finals.

Although not a big 50 overs fan, I'm really looking forward to the World Cup. I think it's wide open and any of the top teams has a chance.

England favourites 9/4 with skybet, with India second on 3/1. I think we always have a fuck up in the tank and would probably go for India.

Good start, keep going.

Eventually we'll get a genuine apology out of an Australian.

Surely?

Re: England Tour of West Indies
Sorry for winning the World Cup
Sorry for ruining the match fixer McCullums day
Sorry for winning the Ashes
Sorry for ending Alistair Cooks career

That enough?

Well, it's a start.

I think you should apologise personally too.

I have said several times that things had gone too far and that quite rightly players were banned and people from the CEO to the coach and several in between were removed

That is the acknowledgment that things weren't right
That good enough?

And now …
They have got rid of the CEO who I had been calling for the sacking of for years
They have got rid of the utterly pointless rugby moron Pat Howard who never should have been appointed to a position in a proper sport
They have got rid of Lehmann who I wanted sacked even after he won the Ashes 5-0. Never the right character to be in charge

Time to move on with Justin Langer in charge
And look forward to the summers cricket in front of the politely applauding English fans

No, you're right, it's not the same as saying "I'm going to break your arm", but it is a pretty clear attempt to threaten Anderson that someone will be trying to break his arm.

If I was to say in my best James Faulkner voice "Of all the guys on here, I'd kiss Sven", that doesn't mean that I'm going to try and kiss you in the same way that James Faulkner might, does it.

Ok good, so, that's Sven's question answered.

Now, I think we can move on to addressing Sven's other point. If you were to attempt to write a similar article about any other country being complete cunts around cricket, you wouldn't need a quarter of the words Kimber churned out for that article.

Even if you combined India and South Africa you wouldn't be able to come up with half of the examples that he did.

Sure, you could come up with a few examples of players, or fans, or administrators being arseholes for ANY country, but Australia have a long, rich history of it.

Entire teams, including the coaching and management staff have either all been complete cunts, or have turned a blind eye to the complete cuntery.

And, as Sven has aptly demonstrated here, almost no ability to recognise that.

*headbutts line*

Well that wasn't what you asked was it.
He played for a club in South London with a couple of guys I used to play with back before my shoulder got knacked one of whom is also a cricket journo.

Google "old lady lawn mower", son. It will cheer you up if nothing else.

No , is it good?

I was asked my opinion on the article and I responded
Think I called it lazy and stereotyped

It’s about a year out of date
Things have moved on in a positive way

Re: England Tour of West Indies
Have you ever seen that clip that went around of the old lady bending over to start a lawn mower, and she ends up leaning up to say "Shut up you cunt", Sven son?

White Pony 10:35 Tue Apr 30
Re: England Tour of West Indies
Nope, still no clearer and no more interesting. Maybe stop getting so bent out of shape about an article by some shit Cricinfo hack. An AUSSIE one at that.

Sven Roeder 10:33 Tue Apr 30
Re: England Tour of West Indies
I was asked whether I had actually read the article in full as the author had played club cricket in England and could compare it to the Aust cricket he described.
I had queried that and asked where he played as I saw nothing that said that

Ok it was bullshit
Just so it’s clear

White Pony 10:23 Tue Apr 30
Re: England Tour of West Indies
Sven, I think you need a lie down. Nobody knows what the hell you're blathering on about with these "comparative article" witterings and I'm sorry to say nobody cares all that much either.

Did anyone actually mention that?
