Eerie - I do think Gatland is a superb coach but surely we have too much fire power and stronger bench.

It will be the closest they will get to a WC final. Expected to see EAH appear with some gushing praise of England!

Can't say that, NJ, Wales will be bang up for it. It's their World Cup final.

Surely England will steam roller Wales? If it wasn't for the French making such stupid mistakes they should have beaten Wales easily on the opening weekend.

You never know, that wanker Stuart Barnes might say something positive about England!

England were magnificent, France were made to look desperate. Off to Cardiff in 2 weeks for the biggest test yet.

I believe England can defeat wales in Cardiff for the 3 time in succession

44 points on the board, wet conditions, and a raft of subs to keep our best men fresh... and it was still a more entertaining half than what any of the other games threw up in 80 minutes.

Yup fantastic wallop from Lawes... app' stuck a stone on since last season... absolute enforcer... cracked me up the fracas caused by Sincs... legs it off after slapping the skull cap and then realises it's kicking off so gets back in there... to be fair he does have a very very innocent face... Ha Ha !!!

Re: 6 Nations
The second half wasn't as exciting as the first......but it was a great defensive performance to stop France scoring any points......much better discipline to not give away many penalties which has been a weakness for a couple of years.
And Courtney Lawes putting 19 stone Bastard on his backside was a highlight.

Re: 6 Nations
Great performance especially the first half... yes it's not the greatest French side but you still got to put them away... and we certainly did that for the 1st 2/3rds of the game... highlight of the game for me was Tom Curry getting his brains blown out by a Jap sniper and then coming back on the pitch to finish the game off.... Johnny Rambo that

Great day out at Twickenham yesterday, great win, should have been more but his insistence on having Ford on the bench and using him is the issue, hopefully, he'll eventually change it, as he did with him being first choice fly half.

Slept right through the second half.

That last 30 minutes was grim watching, to be sure.

That first 25 minutes was daunting. Rapid ball back from the forwards shredded the French.

Last 20 minutes was a waste of time.

Most impressive thing about that performance was it was in wet conditions.

A lot of people (not Moany Miike) make excuses for everyone else, and the absolute tripe that Wales and Ireland served up yesterday was blamed on conditions, yet we performed like that in not the greatest conditions. Tailed off after all the changes, but the damage was done.

What a game next up.
