Finnish coffee weirdness
Leipäjuusto is a cheese that the Finns put in coffee.

Sounds terrible, but is it?

Someone on WHO will know.

Lord Horatio Nelson was known to be fond of hunks of Edam dunked in Earl Grey tea - lightly suffused with lemon rind.

Good and true Englushmen down the ages have been known to take cheese with their elevenses, everyone knows the Finns have sought to ape us in this regard.

Personally i hold no truck with dairy and beverage fusion. I am however partial to bacon morsels submerged in dandelion & burdock carbonated pop.

My son's GF is Finnish, and she says that folks in Northern Finland i.e. Lapland still do, but not in the South.

Just started watching the second series of Bordertown.

I'll let you know if there are any cheese-related shenanigans.

They are absolutely bonkers about ice hockey, no more so than when they play Sweden. And you can be assured that they do NOT like Russians.

Don't know many Finns to be fair but some of my hockey heroes were Finnish as a kid and one of my friends here is Finnish and a professor and despite that a pretty nice guy. Very patriotic when it comes to sports, though.

They won’t taste it as it’s just a chaser for each pint of vodka they neck, is my guess.

Don't drink coffee

So, in the immortal words of Public Enemy:
