Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
Battered her husband over the head with a hammer 20 times and then wrapped his body in a blanket.

Now she is a victim.

Who keeps a hammer in the kitchen? Why not use a knife to just stab him?

Clearly premeditated but using the “ abuse “ card, why didn’t she just leave him?

The dead can’t talk so expect her to be released today with the Feminists giving a statement regarding all men being bullies and rapists.

Just a matter of time before women murdering their husbands are given compensation by the state 😄😄

I’m not sure the sons opinions are that relevant in all of this - they’re bound to be very mixed up about it all and there may be a Stockholm
Syndrome element to it all

As others have said if you allowed people free reign to stove in the heads of ‘proper cunts’ it’d be a quiet world.
With tumbleweed on THIS site

So if she was of unsound mind it sounds like he should have had her committed.
Though was reading last week about the fury at Charles Dickens because he tried that with his frumpy missus.

You can’t win, eh?

Well his sons thought he was a proper cunt

The parallels to the Ruth Ellis case are staggering.

Well, apart from the fact a perceived injustice can be reversed.

Still, bet the next time a heinous or gruesome murderer is convicted, the knee jerkers will be on here, demanding a return of capital punishment.

Exactly comma, but i do like the panic of some of the 'blokes' on here. :-)

And if it were the other way round? Not only do we have blatant, gynocentirc sexism in our courts, we have MEN applauding the system.

Re: Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
That Challen hammered her ex husband to death is not in dispute. For a person to be charged with murder one of the qualifying criteria is that they have to be of sound mind and clearly it is this issue which has lead the Court to quash the original conviction.

The retrial will be all about the sound mind issue and the reduction of the crime to one of manslaughter.

Ah, managed to find out some actual facts buried somewhere online:

Guildford Crown Court heard testimony from the Beachy Head suicide prevention team.

They recounted her confessing: "I killed him with a hammer. I hit him lots of times... If I can't have him, no-one can."

Re: Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
I’m not familiar with the details of the case so tried a bit of googling to find out what actually happened. I think it’s quite telling that I couldn’t find anywhere online describing the facts of the case or the circumstances in which the fella was killed.

Well I’m rarely surprised by how mental our society has become but overturning this decision has shocked me a bit.

If you go round someone’s house with a murder weapon in your bag and then kill them, then it’s murder pure and simple. All this coercive control is a load of bollocks. She was with someone like that because that’s what worked for her. Sad, but true. Even the fact that he was obviously a cunt doesn’t give her the right to kill him or this board would justifiably be non-existent by tomorrow.

Can’t work out why she pleads insanity . All women are mad .

True enough, I’d have hoped that the criminal justice system was above that though

Really Chigwell that’s mental. Identity politics is so backwards and divisive, unbelievable that it would infiltrate the legal system.

Re: Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
If there is a retrial, its guaranteed that the trial judge will be a woman. If a man were appointed, the feminists would claim that any subsequent reconviction was tainted by male prejudice. In any case I suspect that the CPS will in time accept a plea to manslaughter. Our law is very political these days.

Hasn’t the son already stated his dad was the victim?

Let them retrial her and see what comes to light before forming an opinion on what this may lead to.

Re: Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
As mentioned several times the bloke was an apparent cunt who deserved a hammer being applied to his head.
And he may have been the ‘aggressor’ over decades.
But turning up at the house of someone you are no longer living with with a hammer which you use enthusiastically.... well I would quite like that to be discouraged.
And called murder

Side of Ham 11:29 Thu Feb 28
Re: Justice 4 women - Sally Challen
They’ll be the most objective of all as at some stage they will have chosen who’s the aggressor and who’s the victim and they have matured through it to form this opinion, your opinion is from a very safe distance and from that distance you’ve ignorantly come to a decision.
