19 assists now this season.

All praise the Snod. Best 'worst ever signing' ever.

Re: Snodders
Mr. Robert Snodgrass would often have the odd glass
But never when he thought anybody could see
Secretly he'd buy it, and drink it on the quiet
And dream he was an Earl with a girl on his knee
Oom pah pah, oom pah pah, that's how it goes
Oom pah pah, oom pah pah, everyone knows
What is the cause of his red shiny nose?
Could it be oom pah pah?

Well I have to say that when he was at Hull I thought he was a player worth having, always at the middle of things and honest as you like. I was happy when we bought him and surprised that at first he didn't seem to fit in here. We could do with several more like him, but preferably with two good feet.

Snoddy is the appropriate shortening.

Re: Snodders
I’ve been guilty of this shortening too.

Re: Snodders
Has done well this season but we miss the physicality of Antonio on that side especially if we have the midget Hernandez up front.
If we had played our best side … Antonio and Arnautovic for Snodgrass and Pea I expect we would have won by 4 or 5.
Maybe at Cardiff

Seems like a great bloke and glad he's stuck it up his critics - not least the owners.
That said, we definitely need an upgrade next year.

Well, done. Nobody except the mighty intellect that is gph could possibly have worked out that the missing 14 league assists from the past season and a half were from last season, when Snodgrass was playing in the Championship.

Thanks very much for the mathematical assistance.

Robert Snodgrass: 14 assists in the Championship, 2017-18

Re: Snodders
My apologies. I was fooled by a silly statistic from BBC match reposrt.

'Robert Snodgrass has registered 19 assists in the league since the start of last season, a haul only bettered in English football's top four tiers by Marcus Maddison, Leroy Sane, Graham Carey and Raheem Sterling.'

I should have realised 19 was bonkers.

Never mind. Great lad anyway.
