Game in Bangkok Saturday
In Bangkok Saturday and with 5 live games at 3, is there any sports bar which always shows us?

They've been doing that a lot recently. Soi Cowboy gets shut down at 2am. Unless it's raining as the police are too lazy to go out in it.
Hopefully the army government will be gone soon.

I could just say 'realistically'.

A few beers and a long island tea bucket has eased the pain.
Was just starting to relax when police arrived and closed the whole KSR down.

You should probably append "in the larger towns, cities & tourist destinations".

Out in the sticks, nobody generally gives a fuck.

In case anyone else will be in Thailand this month, all bars will be closed for the next 2 Saturdays and it will not be possible to buy alcohol.

I'm watching it outside Playskool bar in Nana Plaza if anyone is around. They changed it for me, to the irritation of 2 Chinese looking guys who were watching Spurs despite it being on every other TV in Bangkok.

The kiwi bar moved recently when the building was demolished. It's now on the first soi on the right going down soi 8 (not the soi with the bj bars).

Late to the thread, but when in Bangkok I head to the sports bar on Sukhomvit Soi 8 - about 100 yards from the junction.

Run by a Kiwi, multiple screens and if the games on TV he'll put it up on one of the screens if you ask. Foods not bad their , either.

* - not actually been for a couple of years so it could now be an up-market condominium block...

Gullivers will have it on. Probably without audio. Forgot about that place. Soi 5 near foodland. Their food is ok as well.

The Penalty Spot on Sukhumvit showed everything when I was living over there a few years back. Wasn't ideal as they only have sound on the game on the big screen, and there are a fair few 'hello you handsome' girls around (though in fairness I was young, white and not overweight unlike the majority of other farang).

It's on ok place - generally though, I would just get to a bar early doors (either around Khao San or in a local area - next to the Shangri La by Saphan Taksin there is a row of local bars used by the tuk tuk & taxi drivers waiting for the evening shift - just next to Jacks bar on the river) and ask if they can put on the game - works well if you get there around 7pm and ask around 8ish when on your third beer.

For the Watford game, I hunted everywhere and found a screen in Hillary 2 with it on. I ordered a beer, but then they promptly changed to the Man City game, the same as every other bar in town. So I went to Playskool bar in Nana Plaza who put it on for me.

Bradman's shows games, but but usually the big games. And if there is rugby on, they show that instead.
Shadow bar used to have every game, but recently changed hands and is now called Ladyboy Bar. I won't be going in there any time soon. That's one for joyo to get his thrills in.
The restaurant formerly known as The Codfather, now called Guppy's has TVs and will change channel to what you want. I watched the Palace game in there.
Most bars with TVs outside will change channel and let you watch if you are buying drinks.
