We missed Noble badly today
I've been criticising Noble for years but have to admit today we missed his presence.

Cresswell as captain? The bloke couldn't control Richarlison let alone his own team mates. No leadership, no command. Quiet as a mouse.

Obiang was utter shit, couldn't complete a pass unless its backwards or sideways. anonymous in CM and left Rice so exposed.

If Noble's the answer then we're well and truly fucked.

On the bright side we donโ€™t have to go to Old Trafford
BT Sport just advertising West Ham v Man Utd at 5pm on April 13

Re: We missed Noble badly today
We were run ragged by Gomez , Sigurdsen & Gueye etc leaving Rice to play them on his own.
Nothing from Obiang, Lanzini or Snodgrass
What we DO need is two top quality central midfielders to play with Rice.
Noble can be a squad player but we need a major upgrade in that area.

Picking Perez & Obiang when they are finished is bizarre. Pellegrini needs to lift HIS game as well.
We have been sloppy at home and abysmal away in 2019.
Balbuena has been fit for a month and should have come straight back
Zabaleta is finished and Fredericks or Johnson should be playing
Perez and Obiang should never have been picked at all even on the bench ... use Holland or Coventry if need be.

We missed anyone that has not given up for this season...

Re: We missed Noble badly today
We started playing shit at Burnley, and have been turned over by Bournemouth, fucking Wimbledon, Wolves, should have been 0-3 down at home to Fulham, were 1-3 down to Huddersfield, lost away to Cardiff.

Noble played in plenty of those games.

We start matches like we're on holiday already - anyone in football can see if you get after West Ham from the off, we fold like a deck of cards, and that's what's happening. The team has no backbone to compete.

Diop was as bad as anyone in that first half and couldโ€™ve rightly been hooked at half time.

What we really need is the general back fully fit.

Kouyate?!

Jesus Christ...
..Yeah what we really miss is a player that runs up the pitch, gets lost and wanders about there looking bemused and doesn't track back.
We have a few of them already.

Re: We missed Noble badly today
A few said as much to me today, but although I agree, we shouldn't be relying on a 31 yr old midfielder. Midfield is the most demanding position need a much younger player in there with Rice.

Re: We missed Noble badly today
Especially if he would have played as a direct replacement for Perez...

Re: We missed Noble badly today
Kouyate was absolute fucking toilet. Obiang has never been that much better. That's one of our problems. Our biggest problem is defence. Ogbonna is a shocking defender. When he plays there is a real lack of control and calmness.

The OPโ€™s twitter ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I would sell Kouyate and it seems he wants to go. Midfield needs freshening up, he doesn't seem to want to be a CB, and he's post peak.

Re: We missed Noble badly today
I like Noble and he definately still has a role at the club as a squad player but we have these conversations every week.

Noble starts and has a bad game and everyone says he's finished.
Then next game Obiang comes in for him has a bad game like he often does and then everyone says we missed Noble so Noble comes back in and has a good game. Then Noble plays the following week and has a bad game so we want him out again because he hasn't got the legs to get round the pitch anymore and repeat.

The same applies to Antonio and Hernandez. One week we want them in and the next we want them out.

Rice didn't look like a 400billion pound player today. Obiang will do that to you.

Who we really miss is Alan Devonshire, Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie.

Alvin Martin, Billy Bonds and Mark Ward

Not Kouyate
