West Ham takeover rumours resurface
Cant see it anywhere else on WHO.

Personally im sceptical that this will come to pass, BUT.........

According to Claretandhugh, we may well be in consideration again by the Qatari Royal Family who want to add an English club to the stable, they currently run and fund PSG, so would be under a different structure so as not to breech FIFA rules.

https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-takeover-rumours-resurface/

A report in the Daily Telegraph that the Qatari Royal family are looking at the possibility of buying an English club has increased speculation that West Ham could be a target.

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
Goose - I don't know a huge amount about the precise order in which these things are done. But logic would tell you that a selling club would first need to provide a potential buyer with access to limited data in order to justify it's valuation of the club, before the potential buyer would be asked to see proof of funds.

No point asking a potential buyer to first show you that they have £10m if your data shows that the club is worth £400m.

So, I'm guessing, you'd show why you're worth £400m and then ask the potential buyer to show proof that they have that money.

But maybe somebody else on here would know different..?

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
Goose - because it now looks like they (PAI) were only given access to limited data.

Seems like everybody is making a lot of false or exaggerated claims. But there's no escaping that PAI appears to be among them. Not a good look for a potential new owner.

Frankly, I think they are full of shit. Which lumps us with GSB.

So I'm unimpressed with the whole thing.

I reckon the Taliban deffo have the money now.

Southbank - all very unclear at the moment. If they didnt have proof of funds then why give them access to you data rooms?

There's a thread on twitter thats posted below and attempts to track where the money comes from. If it's true then they 100% have the dough.

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
Without any specific knowledge it really would not surprise me if Sullivan was playing PAI as he does his transfer negociation

So, who is to say that a body haven't made a formal approach and it is they conducting due diligence, but doing so in a professional and corporately discrete manner

Then along come these PAI clowns, blabbing here, there and everywhere and Sullivan is applying the old technique of wanting one player and bidding for another to drive price

OTB - I make you right, fella. And that's why I'm of the view (currently) that PAI simply don't have the cash - despite what they say.

It seems evident now that PAI has NOT provided 'proof of funds' to the standard required. They can carp on about it all they like, but Sullivan (for all of his sins) seems to be spot on about that.

Btw, strong (and well-placed) rumours abound that there is going to be a development on the alleged money laundering/arrest warrant front - involving Piriyev's dad, and not Piriyev.

If the Taliban offered enough money, they'd take it.

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
What's the latest on this supposed second bid, then?

I don't mean the 'ifs, buts and maybes'. I mean, does anybody have any genuine insight into the current position?

Because it looks from a distance as though Sullivan called them out over their finances during the first 'bid' - and they have been singularly unable to prove they have the funds. It seems that uncertainty extends to this second 'bid'.

All they appear to have done, belatedly, is correct the error of getting the Ferdinands on board - and replaced them with Cottee. But that's just window dressing, plain and simple. It looks and sounds like this lot simply don't have the money and never did.

In those circumstances, let's be blunt: this is going absolutely nowhere - unless somebody knows different.

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
Apparently Whetsone reckons that G&S will reject ALL offers from PAI Capital.

I am not keen on PAI but can't beleive that if they offered the asking price that GSB would knock it back?

I know there is a process and it seems they haven't officially provided proof of funds, but does that doesn't stop them making an informal offer and giving GSB a number?

Hopefully it's all bollocks as PAI are making GSB look relatively competent.

I posted something and goose responded an hour later but a bit like your ITK forecasts, talking shite again?

Good luck with that.

They BOTH need to have the last word in public to prove (PROVE) how right/much of a real man/fan they are.

Of course, each will just say they are goading the other for fun and are bossing the exchanges,

It's beyond sad.

Why on earth would protests put off buyers if anything it will help make buyers more determined

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
I like the sound of an interested Czech investor at WHU taking on some of David Gold's shares.

Should really put an end to PAI speculation unless the protests planned frighten off investors....

When following any football club you have to like some of the followers of said football club probably most tbh. Willwall however has turned following a football club into a personal enjoyment for him alone and comes across as disliking the supporters of the club he chose to follow, and gets what he deserves on here. He mainly talks in the 'I' rather the 'we' and at West Ham this means he's totally missed the point of supporting West Ham.

How he got bought out of his business I don't know as he must realise this site has shown him up for being absolute shit at what he brags he's good at on here........advertising & marketing?!......do me a fucking favour......

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
You are universally disliked - largely because of your views on rape (which are disgusting), your constant looking down on and criticism of west ham fans, and your deflection when constantly proved wrong.

Nothing to do with 'honesty' just you being a prick.

If you were half as clever as you think you are, you would realise this.

Here’s a clue - people not liking you is nothing to do with your ‘honesty’.
---------------------------------

When liars like you prevail goose/trevorb/PLW/various predecessors, you can't help foul up threads because of your clever ways of twisting what was actually said.

My honestly held views on protesting about GSB while we are doing well are exactly that. Honest and worthy of being read by others.

Ridiculing my honesty to minimise the effect of what I actually said is exactly the MO for the multiple usernames celtichammer/PLW/trevorb/etc etc... My last word to you.

Re: West Ham takeover rumours resurface
You're absolutely correct Pentonville. I don't come on here for mates. I come on here to express my views on the club I support.

Others come on here to pretend they are someone they are not however, you are a liar as I didn't blank you Pentonville. I replied on a thread and you thanked me for the info.

I didn't PM you because you are obviously another multi username poster playing games on an unregulated site where sound lies predominate...
