Re: Zamora the scorer.
He was absolutely terrible for most of the time he was here. Had a period every now and again where he looked like he could play but mostly he looked like a confidence player who had run out of confidence.

What a goal in the playoff semi against Ipswich though. The one against Birmingham was also top notch of memory serves.

Re: Zamora the scorer.
I think he was better than Arnie, Hernandez and Perez for us. Only highlights but showed some good football and a reminder of how we could play before Alladyce etc

He scored one goal for spurs, guess who that was against?

Re: Zamora the scorer.
Scored some important goals for us, was loved at Brighton , did very well at Fulham and scored a Playoff final winner for QPR
Only club he did nothing for was Spurs

How can you not love that?

The man had a left foot like a traction engine!

He used to get regularly cunted off on here, but he was a decent enough player, left us for Fulham, had a purple patch and ended up getting an England cap.

He always put a shift in and played with a bit of pride (being a local boy as well). And got some classic goals of course.

Re: Zamora the scorer.
Some good goals in there, though your typical striker of recent years averaging a goal every 4 games.

Seems madness that he left 11 years ago.

They both were more "decent" than Mr Sulkyfuck we have at the moment. Some belters here I'd forgotten about.

Nice, Bobby. IRONS.

The goal against Ipswich when we went the length of the pitch and he volleyed in...

Glorious.

Two decent strikers in the team who could work together made for entertaining football, even if neither were much more than decent.

Simple tap-in, but the goal v Preston was priceless.
God only knows where we’d be if we’d lost that game

Away at Ipswich in the play offs from the Championship. Both great team goals, but the second was superb technique. That side terrace was bouncing that night.

I remembered that bit of skill when that cunt Henry Winter was telling a senile old cunt of a judge that nobody else in the West Ham team but Tevez could have scored the goal at Old Trafford
