It saddens me that Dog's Dinner and Obiang are still WHU players. They are both shit, especially the former.

Re: Summer Transfer window rumours/discussion thread.
Yep we’ll have our usual pedestrian start with Noble exposed if anything happens to our only capable defensive midfielder. We’ll then have our defence exposed to fast paced attacking wave after wave.

How do i know this? Been the same since THAT last season at UP and even that was good because Payet pulled us out the shit the same defensive exposure was apparent.

We’ve got two players in worth a wank and we are STILL short in other areas of the TEAM let alone anything that resembles a squad.

The PL is a squad competition and our leftovers are slow to get going, still another 2 weeks to go with players i don’t trust to be capable of carrying out their role in the squad.

Strangely enough, there are silly cunts on here that rate him, and think he's great value for money on SEVENTY BAGS A WEEK.

We need to hope to fuck Diop & Balbuena stay fit, because we look all at sea at the back every time that useless fucking cunt Ogbonna starts games.

Sell Chicharito...get a goalscoring second striker...for a few extra million...one tgat suits our style net spend 10million

Well Obiang...plus a few extra million get a better DM...5million...

Also sell Hugill...Ogbonna... together with savings on wages...around 15 million..

Well within budget and improvements in the squad...

Claret and Hugh peddling the cash flow hardship story and how Pellegrini is happy with his squad. If old Hugh is still chatting to Gold maybe it’s the result of Gold being senile or just the “oily rag” in the operation. Let’s just hope Hugh is bollockeyed again because we will struggle to get much further if we continue to ship 2 goals a game on average as I think we did last season

We shall see soon enough I suppose.

there's plenty of money, they've spent fuck all (£30m net) and clawed back over £22m in wages. there's enough for the midfield player we need

I'd be surprised if we were really in for Thauvin. Expensive and were relatively well covered there. Bollocks.

West Ham pushing hard to sign Florian Thauvin

West Ham are thought to be interested in signing Florian Thauvin from Marseille.

According to a report from L’Equipe (translated by Sportwitness), West Ham are pushing hard to sign the attacking midfielder.

Thauvin was in fantastic form last season and it is no surprise that the likes of West Ham are looking to bring him in.

The former Newcastle player managed to score 16 goals and pick up 8 assists in Ligue 1 last term.

He would certainly be a quality addition to Manuel Pellegrini’s attack. The Frenchman plays from the right flank and he will add goals and creativity to the side.

There is no doubt that the technically gifted 26-year-old would be an upgrade on the likes of Antonio and Yarmolenko next season.

It will be interesting to see if the Hammers manage to agree a deal for the player now.

Thauvin is reportedly keen on a move to Italy but West Ham certainly have the finances to convince the player.

They have already done something similar with Haller this summer.

West Ham are building a formidable side and Thauvin’s arrival could take them to the next level.
