Re: BMW drivers....
So the car attracts cunts then?

Well, whilst the 'standard' cars weren't shabby, the folks who wanted really fancy cars had to top up the full monthly cost out of their own pockets.

Generally this attracted the car-orientated younger folk, who had fewer financial commitments than people with families etc.

In a market where there was competition for the best people, companies had to be creative to attract who they wanted.

And also we were likely charging you too much...

"If your company can afford to give you a Porsche, you must be charging me too much".

Maybe so but all perfectly true. What’s the thread for but to comment about BMWs and drivers?

Re: BMW drivers....
The 'right' car professionally is important.

My industry has gone through phases of competing to attract the right people, so some companies had car schemes which enabled people to drive pretty much whatever they wanted if they were prepared to contribute themselves over and above their base entitlement.

Got severely curtailed when some customers got pissed off seeing the rep who'd come to visit them, getting out of a 911 Turbo (or similar) in their car park.

Choices are largely BMWs, Mercs and Audis (Lexus are creeping in too), now as this is what people are expected to be driving.

You make up your own fantasies you really do. I’m never alone at a bar unlike you most likely are. Everything I said was true about the cars I’ve had. No Partridge about it.

When you own your own company changing cars when you get to 40,000 miles a year is better than having 2 year old car with 80,000 on the clock. Especially when you are doing a job where you need a certain image and BMW filled that image perfectly. A Porsche would have been too much...

Up to recent, any bad driving seen it was always a BMW involved.
Now, it seems every other cunt is up your backside, you can't even see their headlights they are that close.

You're the loner cunt at the bar, the weirdo desperate to strike up a conversation with anyone who could put up with your mundane fantasist boasts for longer than 5 seconds

"I started with a 635i coupe in the 80’s...and they've gone"

I changed my cars annually or at most every 18 months when I was working. I’m 72 now and no longer do the commuting or business miles.

Chill
You’re just a typical jealous, gobshite socialist. Can’t do it yourself so try to drag others down to your level at the bottom of the pile. Try doing it for yourself oh....you do on a daily basis don’t you?
