Just watching 2nd half out of boredom. Chile's keeper has been fantastic

No one will get near to the US. Different class from the rest.

5-1, but after a penalty which is a text-book case of how shit the new handball rule is.

It's handball if your arms are away from your body when the ball strikes them - even if you're jumping.

The penalty box is going to look like it's full of pogoing punks

4-1! Fuck me, that was unexpected

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
4-0.

Fair play to Thais, though - must be hard to show your face after a 13-0 defeat.

I think the worst I've been in is 10-1

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
Thailand have gone 19 minutes without conceding - a record for them at these Finals

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
3-0, just after the Thais' first touch in Sweden's box.

Perhaps they were too busy celebrating...

Thai fans are STAUNCH.

Or blind

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
Sweden aren't making the Thais look totally useless.

Not totally.

Only 2-0 up.

Admittedly, the Thais haven't touched the ball inside Sweden's box, yet.

Leon falls over in the box.

Oh well, at least she was there.

Another decent save.

Maybe by the next WWC, women keepers won't be a joke any more.

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
That's the little bit extra they needed.

Maple syrup cocktails all round the ioc household

Re: Women's World Cup 2019
Canada impressive in retaining possession, but they need to use it a bit better.

I wish we (West Ham) were as good at not giving the ball away against sides of or near our standard, though

That would make me pretty young there, mate.

3 18 year olds in that squad. Even if I was Christine Sinclair's kid, I would have started my WHO posting career when I was 7 or 8.

More seriously, a West Ham player playing tonight and an ex West Ham player (miraculously free of injury since he left us) playing in the wee hours of the morning (not that the second is really on topic.)

haha....

i reckon the remaining candidates in the tory leadership contest should slug it out in a cheese rolling race across the mendips. Winner takes PM role.
