I wonder if Lump of Lard will get excuses from moaners on here for teams performance
But our lot won't for being smacked by City

That's an unpleasant thought.

He is manager of Chelsea so I would like him to lose lots of football matches.
I’d also like to see that point where Chelsea fans enthusiasm for him starts to wane.
Ideally after a thumping home defeat by us.

I can’t even be arsed to hate Lampard anymore - he’s just another Premier Manger to me

Agree with Mad Dog- I just wanted Man U to score a couple more to take us off the bottom.

It's probably going to be a tough season for Lampard. Best and probably only world class player sold with no replacement. Transfer embargo. Tammy Abraham as #1 striker. He'd better hope his 'legend' status gives him some time from the fans. No doubt the club will hide behind him.

I'll enjoy it as I think they will struggle.

I watched the game, they weren't that bad and were easily the better team first half.

Doubt we'll trouble either of these teams when it comes to league positions

This is entertaining...

This was Chelsea’s heaviest ever opening-day league defeat in what is their 104th league season

Frank Lampard suffered the heaviest defeat by a Chelsea manager in his first match in charge since Danny Blanchflower lost 7-2 to Middlesbrough in December 1978

Danny Blanchflower - Chelsea Manager: "However, he won only three of his 15 games in charge and he left them in September 1979"
