Teemu Pukki
A completely unremarkable career to the age of 26, including failing at Celtic.

Then from nowhere scored 17 goals in a season at Brondby 4 years ago, 20 goals the following season, then moved to Norwich and scored 31 goals last year and has scored 5 in 2 and a half games so far this year in the premier league.

Odd how players can flourish so late in their careers.

Not sure it'll be long before we realise how much PEDs play such a rampant part in all of professional sport.

If you've seen Icarus or Screwball, it's obvious how easy it is to get away, despite such public 'stringent' testing.

Obviously not targeting Pukki as I have no evidence to prove this, nor would that be legally wise. However, there are 32 year old strikers in the Premiership running faster than they ever have. That's biochemically amazing.

Re: Teemu Pukki
err, geoff, he's 29.

Clearly, the op should have said he was 26 just under four years ago, instead of four years ago.

"So late..."???

He's only 26!

Better sell Haller now. Obviously on a downward spiral.

Duh.

Might have been a joke, as the rest of the post would indicate.

No, it was Grant Holt.

I was more impressed than I may have indicated. Although I forgot his name, I remembered what he looked like.

I thought might have meant Ricky van Wolfswinkel, who I know I have confused with Rip Van Winkel in the past.

Didn’t we put a £6 mill bid in for Grant Holt that season and it was turned down.

He looks about 40
After 3 generations of Norwich family style breeding
Can finish though
Saw him interviewed last season and he admitted he was never fit enough or dedicated previously before the penny dropped
