What a monster, Cat 5. Just hammered the Bahamas heading for Florida next.
Storm is so big it will cover the entire state of Florida, slow moving storm as well, 185 mph winds, est Storm surge of 28 feet.
Squeaky bum time if you’re in or near it’s path!

Been through one Tropical Storm and one Hurricane... just chuck the sun loungers in the pool.. and then fish them out in the morning... job done..

Erm no I chase tornadoes, Hurricanes are 100's of miles wide, Tornadoes are localised!

I love a good tropical storm.
I'm not a dickhead so I know that leaving my fridge door open all the time will increase the likelihood of having them.

It's down to global warming. The average sea temperature is going up causing more cyclones.
But most of the dickheads on here don't believe it.

Absolute doozy of a storm, the eye wall is so defined.
The photos of the stadium effect have been stunning as is the gif of the eye swallowing the whole of Grand Bahama Island.
It's literally stationary now above the island, remarkable.

I was meant to be on a cruise out of Miami when Irma steamed across the Caribbean, flight to Miami got cancelled and I was fucking livid. And then we started to see what it had done to St Maarten and other islands and put it all into perspective.
