Seeing as how Sir Bobby so impressed Her Maj that she has been an Iron for over 50 years, do you think the club should apply for one of those 'royal appointment' crests?
Underneath they could have: 'Purveyors of the finest football to Her Majesty the Queen.'
Or something similar.

'Reggie' was doing the Colchester match last night on SSN and mentioned he lived just down the road from Colchester.
I always assumed he lived over Walton on Thames where his son Anthony manages the local team and Tony is the Chairman.
Good to know he is now a fully fledged Essex boy!
I have an indirect connection with Gale's signing for the club in 1984 which I am rather proud of.
