Awful the way he was treated after so many years of amazingly loyal committed service.
Deserves at least a testimonial or something.

Lovely bloke, big heart, legend at WHU but not a great defender. Deserves a real send off.

We bumped into him during the NZ tour. He had a beanie on and was eating a pie outside the team hotel about 10pm. We asked him for a photo and he said “yeah, but that he looked like a tramp.

I wasn’t say that Ginge was having a pop at the owners. It is the fans who use this as another excuse to vent their anger. There are plenty of genuine reasons to have a gripe but this isn’t one.

He wasn't having a pop at the owners. He said that they've been good to him since as has the club. He also says that he owes everything he has to the West Ham fans and he wanted a chance to say thank you.
Him and Gabiddon come across well in the interview. They had an unwritten agreement that Gabs would do all the running and Ginge would do all of the heading.

I loved Ginge as a player, but he got a decent send off against Everton in the last home game of the season. He could always pop in the office to say goodbye to Janet. Im sure he would always be welcome back at the club. In fact, didn’t he train with us while he was looking for a club? Such a non-story and another excuse to have a pop at the owners.

If you listen to the whole interview it doesn't come across as disingenuous as it does out of context.

Joking aside, I've lost all respect for him. We gave him 11 years, made him a multi-millionaire and he's sat there on national radio slagging the club off griping that he didn't (apparently) get a chance to say goodbye to a a fucking office girl. Cunt doesn't know he's been born.
Clearly there is more to it.

Yes, but pay attention, the poor fellas gripe is that he didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Janet in the office.

Tomshardware 12:56 Fri Sep 27 Re: James Collins Deserved a bit more of a send off but it's not like he made 400 appearances for the club.
Ginge had a fantastic send off with a full London Stadium singing his name, the captain's armband and a lap of the pitch on the final whistle of his last game... everyone there, including Ginge, certainly looked as though they knew they were saying goodbye and thank you.
All careers come to an end... sad but inevitable.
