Prince Harry.
Becoming a major cunt, never has a man been more pussy whipped that him.

Now suing the papers in relation to phone hacking back in the early 2000s.

His missus clearly has expensive taste.

"Research = talking to people in pubs"

Research = weekly/monthly statistics of what gets clicked on*

FWIW i don't hold the royals in any high regard or even give much of a shit about either Harry or Meghan (save chuckling at how his sudden interest in the environment etc coincides with marrying a member of the Hollywood jetset he's clearly besotted with) but if they wanna squeeze some money out of the scum press then they're fighting the good fight I reckon.

Could be Roy Keane or Lily Allen going after them and I'd cheer them on.

To me it all still boils down to the simple inexplicable question, why does anyone EVER buy and therefore support these rags financially?

Re: Prince Harry.
They've been doing exactly the same sort of stuff since well before the interweb.

Talking to people in pubs it is, then.

Tabloids can also see traffic on stories on their websites and see the effect on sales.
The Royal family as a soap opera sells well and those need heroes and villains.
A climate changey MeToo black(ish) bird will do nicely.

"Research" ??? Me hole, you're giving them way too much credit. They just go for what they know will appeal to people's baser instincts.

Re: Prince Harry.
The tabloids give their readers what they think (or know) they want.
They aren’t in the business of telling them something they don’t want to hear.
Research obviously tells them having a dig at the dusky Princess plays well.

Piers Morgan and his ilk Or Harry and Meghan?

Piers can go and fuck himself and so can the rest of the royal media who obviously hate the fact that harry married someone of colour with a brain and thoughts.

Not at all.

My point wasn't anything to do with her though, it was just questioning why anyone would see going after the gutter press as a bad thing.

He could always wait til 2030 and really stick it to ‘em.
Is it wrong to imagine it’s Mrs Prince-Harry’s idea?

"Would you wait over a decade to do it?"

I'd do whatever would cause them a bigger pain in the arse quite frankly.

Re: Prince Harry.
Merkel didn't sue the tabloid when Liz Cundy spilled the beans about being asked to find her a wealthy Englishman on her arrival in London. Ashley Cole wanted to knob her apparently but she struck gold when meeting Harry at some party.
She is out for wealth and fame and silly old Harry can't see he's under her thumb.
I shall be amazed if this all ends happily ever after.

Agree he should sue them but what was the delay?
I recall some celebs sued and thought the papers settled before any of them got to court so that the criminal behaviour could be punished properly

Of course anyone who buys these papers has been colluding in their behaviour. It was done because it got them the banal gossipy shit that readers lapped up.

Re: Prince Harry.
Agreed. Fair play to him. The tabloids have been after his wife since the day they got married. And for no specific reason other than that she's foreign and half black.

Tabloid journalists are the lowest of the low.

mashed in maryland 2:25 Sun Oct 6
Re: Prince Harry.
Let me put it this way if a load of creep journalists had printed a load of shit about my mum and hacked into my families' phones to try and dig up dirt on them, if I had the means (as Harry clearly does) I'd probably spend the rest of my life going after them for everything they've got. Unpopular golddigging yank wife or not.

Good on him.

Totally agree with the sentiment, but not convinced that it's such a wise move in practice.

Regardless of anyones feelings about the royals, why would this be a bad thing?

The gutter press behave like utter scum sometimes with literally no comeback, the more they're made to pay in the rare instances they get caught the better.

Re: Prince Harry.
I’m just pleased that after leaving the army a fair while ago that Harry finally has a new job ... Professional Litigant

Hopefully the phone hacking case gets to court (it’s outside the statute of limitations, innit ?) and we hear a few of the phone messages.

He has certainly missed a trick marrying Megan when a talented, driven, high intellectual like Gemma Collins was on the market.

She clearly wears the trousers as he never used to be a whiny old cunt.

Still, she’s definitely worth keeping happy!
