Re: Palm Springs
I’ve worked in Palm Springs a few times, You'll get a tiny airplane from LA. My first stay was in a hotel over a casino, which was like Cocoon, full of old people spending their pensions in the slots.

I have also stayed in the Hilton, decent night club underneath and met some lovely Californian ladies.

Do the Red Indian trails, avoid the rattlesnakes.

Do the cable car up the mountains, don’t wear shorts though, 40 degrees on the ground but -5 up the top.

Enjoy

Tried to point it out to the other half, but by the time she turned round it was gone.

Did it go "Beep Beep" as it vanished?

Re: Palm Springs
Quite a few, er.......After8’s in Palm Springs, but I like it there, been a few times. Saw a roadrunner there, I thought they were the stuff of cartoons, but they do exist.

Superb sunrises and sunsets. Worth getting up early for.

Re: Palm Springs
Been there a few time, but not for quite some time.

The best thing to do is what Sold has mentioned below. You can do (or used to be able to do) quad biking/dune buggies/etc.

Do this...

https://pstramway.com/

... effin' superb views at the top of the San Jacinto Mtn... like a different world up the top... trails are good but remember you are nearly 9000 feet up... the air is rare.... so it's much harder work than normally would be... our Lays crisps looked like a barrage balloon ... only stayed 2 nights at PS will deffo' stay longer next time...

Re: Palm Springs
Had 1 night there last December before flying out of LA

Whoever sang 'it never rains in Southern California' is a lying bastard because it pissed down

We were going to do the cable car up the mountain thing but wouldn't have been able to see anything
