Grady Diangana
Should we recall him in January or let him stay at West Brom until the end of the season ?

Re: Grady Diangana
The fact that this is even a story tells you a lot about where we are right now and the general confidence. Pellegrini needs a result tomorrow.

Re: Grady Diangana
Seemed nervous and indecisive with us but confident and effective with west brom. Hopefully he has matured quickly.

Re: Grady Diangana
Leave him be, hes doing well in a team winning games and top of the fizzy pop, let him come back with the experience and used to winning games, assuming we are still in the PL next season...............that will be of more benefit than a knee jerk recall now.

Re: Grady Diangana
Smacks of desperation if you ask me ,six weeks ago apparently we had one of the most exciting attacking line ups we’ve ever had now we’re bringing back a loanee to save our season ! We’re a fucking laughing stock.

Re: Grady Diangana
We recall him. He starts three games and is anonymous in all three, which are defeats. He's dropped and doesn't really feature again so plays for the U23s, leading to no development whatsoever.

Recalling him would be so shortsighted, I really hope for his sake and ours that they leave him where he is - DEVELOPING.

If that's what counts as drama to you I'd suggest you're not cut out for daily life. You'll be in a corner gibbering with Bolty at this rate.

Not like you to over dramatise things Vexed?

Re: Grady Diangana
Holland must be dreadful if he's not getting into our midfield. Diangana needs to prove himself at wanker level before getting anywhere near the first team.

Classic WHO this. Lose a few games, go into panic mode and advocate slinging any old cunt into the team out of desperation. Get a fucking grip.

Re: Grady Diangana
younger players can have 1 bad game or 45 mins and they are binned...yet seasoned pros can put in crap performances a few games on the trot and not be dropped..

at least grady always added pace and movement but i suppose we have that in abundance at the moment

we have too many players hiding in the middle of the park playing it safe

Re: Grady Diangana
Most on here were righting Diangana off in the Summer 'not good enough' etc.

He was and still is good enough for the first team squad. Will only get better over next couple of years.

He is enjoying his football. Was the managements mistake to let him go so let him stay at West brom and continue to develop. Rest assured he wont want to come back in January.

Rossal - Yes I know, I was referring to an earlier comment that Bilic would be ok with it.

Re: Grady Diangana
Sir Alf

We're crying out for one of the 3 behind Haller to have a bit of pace and to run beyond defences. Diagana will do that, the kid will be high on confidence and at the moment is better then Anderson. Bring him back, he will walk into our team based on the last 4 games.

and Manuel think the decision lies with us, if we recall him Slav wont have a say in it.

Manuel 11:11 Tue Nov 5
Re: Grady Diangana
Alf - Do you think we made a rick selling Kouyate?

Would be amazed if Diag came home in Jan, and really not sure super Slav would 'be up' for letting one of his best players leave somehow.

Re: Grady Diangana
Let him see the season out there. Personally I don't think he quite has the attributes and the strength to make it at the very top. He reminds me of so many youth players down the years. A bit too lightweight and one dimensional. That said, he could be a later developer like Stanislas although he is still mostly a fringe player at Bournemouth.

But his type of player is not what we need. We need pace, strength and stamina in that midfield. The squad does not have anyone like that and its Pellegrini's biggest faux pas. Well that and an inadequate backup keeper.

Re: Grady Diangana
Watched most of the game last night, he looked good but Stoke are absolutely terrible.

What does concern me is that he is painfully 1 footed and almost refuses to use his right, i know some players get away with it but I've not seen him have the same quality in his left peg as some of the one footed players who make it at the top level.

Would rather see Holland given a chance but the idea of swapping them is a decent one.

Re: Grady Diangana
Seems to playing on the left. Obviously more suited for him.

No doubt we will bring him back and out him on the right!

Re: Grady Diangana
I think it's better for him to stay at WB for the whole season.
In January we should buy a forward and stick with what we have.
Diangana back will not change the team and can affect his growth as a player, put too much pressure on him and undermine his confidence and will to stay at West Ham.

Rossal 9:05 Tue Nov 5
Re: Grady Diangana
I think he'll start. I'd start him over Anderson at the moment. Bring him back he strengthens us. We miss his pace and someone out wide willing to run at full backs, beat them and get crosses in.
