GTHC Predicts, Sheffield United at Home
In the past few weeks we have gone from a decent start to the season and talk of a top 6 finish, to a bang average mid to lower table PL side, which to be fair is about our level on the past 2 performances, we should beat the blades but it wont be easy, add in the curse has been put on this game......

An edgy 1-0 IMO.

West Ham have had a bit of a dip with their recent results, and they did not play well when they lost to Everton last weekend.

That kind of inconsistency is just what West Ham seem to do, but maybe they won't do it as many times this season.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder keeps getting it right, with his latest success being his side's impressive win over Arsenal on Monday.

The Blades' away form is very good, but I think this is a tough game for them.

Yes, West Ham are very up and down but when they play well at home, they are a very dangerous side.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

I don't want to jump on the doom and gloom bandwagon, but I am worried about tomorrow. If we play as we did last week, Sheff U will properly turn us over.

I like MP but I too think that we won't be at all prepared for these Northern monkeys, they'll bully us and get us at least twice on the counter attack.

See Wimbledon and Oxford as what we can look forward to on Saturday.

According to Pellegrini, in his Press Conference, Sheff Utd are:

.... They play a typical style – direct football. It has come from the Championship but we are prepared for it.

We won't be .....

I don't get this on paper we should wipe the floor with them crap.
It's time to roll our sleeves up and graft because I can assure you that's what they will do.
Tippy happy football won't wash with Sean Bean's lot.

Saw them against Liverpool and Arsenal and they were very well organised and didnt look like conceding to be honest ( only the keeper doing a Taibi gifted the scousers a goal)

They've also still posed a threat on the counter seemingly from just sheer will and effort to be first to clearances and chase lost causes, seem to be lacking quality end product though.

Be interesting to see if they set up the same way against us or see us as someone they can attack more

STAT ATTACK

Sheffield United have played 675 long balls this season.
That's quite a bit more than anyone else in the division.

I'd admit, I've hardly seen them at all this season. Are they really as good as everyone says they are?

Hope I am wrong but I suspect defeat and the fans getting the right hump. Whether that is with the board or MP will be interesting.

We’re going to get smashed by them. It’ll be their FA cup final.

According to Pellegrini, in his Press Conference, Sheff Utd are:
“Sheffield United reflect their manager’s mentality. It is totally English football, with strong players who work a lot during 95 minutes, with a lot of balls inside the box aiming to win the first or the second ball. “They know perfectly how to do it. They play a typical style – direct football. It has come from the Championship but we are prepared for it.

Which leads me to believe the silly old cunt has not watched Sheffield United at all and is totally unprepared.
They play with the centre backs splitting and pushing up with the ball into midfield with the midfield dropping, they do not play with a big target man and do not just lump it forward and try and win the second ball. Look at how they played against Chelsea finding space playing between the lines and non-stop running.

Can only see a loss with the way Pellegrini is looking at this match, I hope of course i'm wrong. But fuck me what is Pellegrini talking about

Our previous two performances have been piss poor. This another one of those games that is worrying. We should win it at a cantor, we have far superior players. BUT, they have taken away points at both Chelsea and Everton this season. We know that they will chase seemingly lost causes, compete for everything, get in our faces and give 100%. We all know that some of our players wont fancy that at all.

I'll take a draw at least that will be an improvement.

What the fuck does Arnie know about football (soccer)?

"I like Liverpool," Schwarzenegger told BBC Sport. "They are not always successful but the momentum is there right now."

Apart from Man U probably the most successful team in the English game.

I don't particularly want him out, i just wants some progress, year after year its the same old bollocks, mid table if we are lucky and no cup run. They took our home away to move forward and i see little sign of progress on the pitch at present and I am so bored of it it's unreal.

Got to give him more time - who do you want in?

GSB won't want the cost to end his contract early anyway.
