Re: England tour of New Zealand
I believe I am quite even handed in cricketing matters
If people call me a cunt I respond where I think it’s appropriate
It’s water off a ducks back and I enjoy discussing cricket with those on here who want to do that.

Amused to read Tim Paine being asked whether Stokes was taking a cheap shot at Warner.
Basically called him a whingeing snowflake using Warner to sell his book

sven, you'll have to except you are an adopted Aussie acting up on here, that's not very well liked in any culture when you are having a constant go at your place of birth on a site that is from there too whilst also living back in that country claiming to be all out Aussie.

At least appreciate that having a dual nationality you can see from both sides and act accordingly but you don't........no wonder you get cunted off no?

Re: England tour of New Zealand
I was 6 when we left for Australia and didn’t really take an interest in cricket til I was about 10.
I’m not sure Australia ‘dominate’ over England in cricket. The Ashes have gone back and forward regularly since 2005 and as I have mentioned before when I started following Test cricket England held the Ashes. They did that for a further 4 years and for 14 of the first 18 years I supported Australia in Test cricket.
Shit bit of glory hunting THAT was.

Enjoy the Test match(es) this week

*cricket..... not Christmas :-)

Re: England tour of New Zealand
Not implying that at all, you’ve gone out your way to sit yourself bang in the middle of a sport thread that Australia have a good chance at beating England and pretended to be doing the right thing by protecting them. You was born here and started out here long enough to know where you are really from, to just have a bit of humility about it all but instead choose to get involved in tittle tattle hiding behind cricket stats.

I doubt you are into cricket at all, and it would soon swap to another sport if they were dominate over England in that too.

If you can’t see that the worst ones are the ‘newbies’ which is what you are as a self chosen Aussie then that makes you an even bigger cunt for doing this.

....anyways you are right I don’t really give fuck about Christmas I was curious as to why you have bitterness towards your homeland, but I doubt you even know, so it’s done.....

Re: England tour of New Zealand
You appear to be implying it would be impossible for you to enjoy living in another country as the natives support a different nation to you.
Its fine. It can be done without the angst you imagine

I note you have made two posts in the lead up to the First Test berween NZ & England (& at the same time the First Test of Aust v Pakistan)......
1. A rant about David Warner over the Ben Stokes book
2. A rant about James Pattinson being suspended for abusing a batsman

Any opinions about the actual cricket?

Re: England tour of New Zealand
There’s something that always drags it back to you liking this country though Sven, something makes you want to like it here and all this is, is you pushing against that.

You’re too involved for it to just be bantz too consistent with your reaction & that need to be doing what you do.

Re: England tour of New Zealand
I DO support the Socceroos
They won 1-0 in Jordan last week if you didnt catch the latest from the Asian World Cup qualifying results

I don't support England in any sport.
I like them to do well in the World Cup as it adds to the atmosphere around the tournament in the later stages.
But I dont want them to win it as I would prefer Bobby Moore to remain the only English winning captain.

Grumpster 7:40 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
I'd hazard a guess that Sven doesnt support the socceroos though.

Its like the bird at work who supports england at football but india at cricket (yes she's indian but born here).

I mean support one or the other, dont just support the best teams in the certain sports.

Fickle world we live in.

So much REALLY so that you have to keep telling everyone?

Re: England tour of New Zealand
I grew up in Australia and I REALLY don’t give a shit what anyone thinks about me supporting them. I hope I’ve made that clear.
I take the abuse as the lack of any ability to make a sensible comment on the actual cricket as not sure I ‘dig out’ England.
Thanks for your abuse. See above
I think I give my honest balanced opinion about English & English qualified players.

Side of Ham 6:16 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
....you are abused because you are ENGLISH sven......

....i'm really starting to think you are on the spectrum seeing that you can't see why the abuse arises with you digging out your own for the purpose of the opposition.

Sven Roeder 6:08 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
I’m happy to discuss cricket with anyone and in my opinion I discuss it fairly.
Am more bemused than anything by those that want to abuse me
There are a fair ratio of people who post on cricket threads who have never posted an opinion on the actual play on the pitch or the performances of those playing.

Enjoy the Test match this week

...and there i one post is you being bitter sven, you'd leave alone if it wasn't nagging you to be like it......

Sven Roeder 5:42 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
I’m not bitter at all
I support Australia and I enjoy disrupting the England supporter circle jerk. While being called a cunt , a traitor and having my parents parenting skills insulted.
I enjoy it

By top order I mean openers and number 3.
I’m guessing the figures were the worst ever. Even in the England teams that lost 5-0

Side of Ham 5:36 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
Not at all sven, you are English pretending to be Australian strongly backing the Aussies more than they do on an English forum whilst living in England, what is that?

A mixed up fucker who should just be ignored because he's bitter for some reason?

I don't think banter covers it as you ain't Aussie.

Bernie 5:36 Sun Nov 17
Re: England tour of New Zealand
australia are the cunt sports team gift that just keeps on giving.

I'm pretty sure cricket australia demanded their cricket team went about their business in a more professional manner, lose the cunt streak.

Since then Warner has been called out by Stokes for being a CUNT again and James Pattinson has been banned for his 3rd homophobic slur in 18 months.

Just a complete and utter bunch of cunts to a man

sven, you do know what hypocritical means being a pretend Aussie and all that?

It's just how you see it, is on that spectrum.......
