Re: Next level
The stadium can't really be improved. Apparently its not possible to dig down and also the rake means you would never get seats all the way round close to the pitch.

That's what happens when you try to convert an athletics stadium into a football ground.

Re: Next level
Players only come to us for the money, if they were good enough the top six would want them, so the player thinks, stop at Lille, earning 20/30 grand a week, or move to the premiership and earn at least £100k a week, granted will never win anything but after 2/3 years they are set up for life.

Re: Next level
Why would they do that Road son?? You'd have to be pissed out of your head to waste £200m just to keep some fans happy... and ARABS don't drink....

Re: Next level
Why would they do that?

Re: Next level
Depressing but you never know, if it was oil money like at City they may be prepared to shell out 200m odd for proper retractable seating.

Re: Next level
There is no business case to update the stadium unless the number of sold STs drops.

As they don't seem to be, which I must admit is a surprise, then no changes will be made.

`and who are willing to invest large in the stadium'.

Yeah what mug New owners would do that... spend multi billions on it... just to keep some fans happy... behave... the damage is already done...

Re: Next level
How long do we have wait for these "rich" new owners? We have been hearing this on here for years. It aint happening anytime soon..

Literally no player would sign for us for success.

Re: Next level
Yeh it looks like they are lining him up, if that happens we're doomed.
I can't believe how much those cunts have destroyed the club, I never liked or wanted them but was happy about the move as I believed the lies about the stadium and next level, they've really excelled in mugging us off though.
Haven't delivered on either and the stadium is about as bad as it could be and getting worse with wear.

Re: Next level
Junior will get the club once the old man has gone.

Then it really will be a shit show. The only hope then, is that the spoilt little brat will sell it to the highest bidder.

Re: Next level
The only thing that can save the club now is very wealthy new owners who know what they are doing, will demand sucess and who are willing to invest large in the stadium.

Re: Next level
Sold0, but we were told we’d be signing world class player because of the OS. Some even saying Payet signed the yr before due to the move...

LOL

`Any player in the world signs for either success or money and I doubt a single one of them ever actually gives a shit what the stadium looks like`

See I said that (along with a few others on here) a few years back before the move... I think we all got called a cunt.... but then everyone got duped by Tits McGee Brady... ah well never mind...

We haven't signed a single player who wouldn't have also signed for us at Upton Park.

Any player in the world signs for either success or money and I doubt a single one of them ever actually gives a shit what the stadium looks like.

Big facts!

Loads fell for that part of the bullshit as well though.

I think thats a very fair comment Grays, theres more fans in the stadium.......apart from that not sure what positives there are.
Maybe could argue we are attracting higher calibre of players or manager???

Re: Next level

All in all i have seriously not seen any benefits to moving yet.

This is it, is there anything that has actually improved for the fans with the move?

Why exactly did we move?

Re: Next level
For where we are in the table and the last 4 games is not down to the owners. Its Pellegrini, there is no way we should be winless since Oxford United with the players he has had at his disposal.

I hate the owners and want them gone, I know we could of done with more investment this season but at the moment Pellegrini takes more of the flack for me.
