Pellegrini Out
Had to be done sooner or later. I'm afraid our owners will keep it later to save some pounds.

I applauded him coming in, and to be honest, have really tried to play football after a couple horrendous years under bfs and Moyes.

But now, he seems lost. I don't believe is the manager to get the most out of our players anymore.

What about you? In or Out?

Re: Pellegrini Out
Yes, that is my prediction too. We might scrape a draw at Southampton if we're lucky. I actually we have a better chance of winning at home tonight against Arsenal than away at Southampton on Saturday.

I don't think we will win either, but I hope to be proved wrong!

We will not beat Southampton, you can take that to the bank.

*nothing less than victory at Southampton

Re: Pellegrini Out
Under any rational and ambitious board, Pellegrini would be approaching the last chance saloon after four defeats in five and one win in ten stretching back to September.

A heavy loss and/or poor performance tonight and he should be on very thin ice and potentially facing the sack in the morning. If we do lose and he does cling on, then nothing more than victory at Southampton on Saturday should save his hide.

The next two games are a really important couple of fixtures that could define our season.

Re: Pellegrini Out
He'd never leave Leeds for West Ham - I was more pointing out what a pleasure it was to watch - everybody pulling in the same direction.

Tonight we'll see two identical teams - just one marginally worse than the other.

We have a disease that runs through the club - and it has done ever since I've supported them. This isn't just Gold/Sullivan, it goes back to Cearns/Brown etc.

Of course I talk sh*t Eerie thats why I come on here :-) Sorry it annoys you.

Its therapy though for me.. Do like my missus does and ignore me. But I will keep on about them until they are gone because they set expectations, moved us on false promises. At least the Cearns and Brown didnt pretend they were in it for anything other than earning money. Took away one of the few pleasures of local pubs where my family used to drink after games. I was conned and while I never thought we would be in the Champs league I didnt expact relegation struggles to continue

60 years of which 45 - 50 have been about trying to keep out of relegation trouble or actually getting relegated several times makes a man bitter and twisted. At least we once won a cup every now and then.

Thx for indulging me.( ooh err )

Re: Pellegrini Out
Alf, I'm more than up for getting stuck into the owners, but you don't half talk some shit at times. I think everyone wants them out, but you are absolutely obsessed by them.

Pellegrini has turned out to be an absolute dud, but for once they at least showed a bit of ambition by getting him in. Hindsight has proved it a bad move, and they need to spend more on players, but getting in a 'proven' manager on £8mil a year is not just employing a yes man. Come on.

Huge game for Pelle tonight.

Arsenal are one of the few teams worse than us at the moment.

Re: Pellegrini Out
Bielsa was in the running before Bilic was hired. It was said he presented a list of players and changes he wanted to make if he joined

obviously the board didnt agree with his input.

along with the above, if you watch the leeds documentary series, Bielsa looks like he is really enjoying himself and deeply rooted into the leeds set up.

Sir Alf 1:54 Mon Dec 9
Re: Pellegrini Out
Sullivan would never employ Bielsa as he would likely be honest and tell him some home truths. Pellegrini is paid handsomely and is an old man like Sullivan and Gold and will never rock the boat. Bielsa would be looking at culture change and start thinking longer term at changing the whole football side. Sullivan would never allow that. It might mean continual investment to match Bielsa's ambition and requirement to take us to a new level.

Sullivan loves a "steadyy Eddy" which mnormally ends up in failure. Sleepwalking owners and managers/

Re: Pellegrini Out
No you’re right axeman, the manager is doing a fine job and is getting the absolute maximum out of the resources he had available.

Re: Pellegrini Out
Watching Leeds at the weekend - I would give my right arm to see my team work as hard as they do. Even their flair players graft their nuts off all game.

Don't know what it is Bielsa does - but it fucking works.

Re: Pellegrini Out
He is too passive

I would love Kovac - somebody with drive and determination to prove himself. He could persuade Jovic who is having a shocker at Real Madrid to reunite with Haller up front. On loan of course...

Won't happen with the pervert smurf in charge

diehardhammer 11:50 Mon Dec 9
Re: Pellegrini Out
Kovac would get a better tune out of that team than MP is, knows how to play haller properly and plays an high press 3-5-2

plus without a club so no compensation but board dithering is going to miss out on him

You do know the problem is not the manager/s its the board

diehardhammer 10:44 Mon Dec 9
Re: Pellegrini Out
a reliable arsenal ITK said Niko Kovac will be at the game but this is due to getting linked with the Arsenal job

same old dithering board missing out on the best target avaliable as per

What a cunt he is. Can't wait to get his pay off and fuck off back to Chile.

Watford used to have a bit of imagination in appointing young unheard coaches like Rodgers and boothroyd.
IF Hughton rolls up.. it would fit the mindset of these fuckers
