The Pirate Bay
Anyone still using it. I thought that after some of them were banged up that it must have folded. Haven't used it for at least 12 years. Used to get all my music there.
Is it ok to use now?

Re: The Pirate Bay
I don't get viruses on my Raspberry Pi, or my NAS, or my laptop.

That's because I paid attention to teacher instead of trying to cop a look at Sandra Kingston's tits during IT lessons.

I essentially only use my laptop for downloading and watching tv & films, and have a 2 TB external hard drive that i backup the new films ive downloaded to once a month or so.

Everything with any personal information on is done on my phone really.

The same question could be asked to pretty much anyone with a internet connection though.

Re: The Pirate Bay
Everything important of mine is backed up in the CLOUD, and also on an NAS drive, so I should be ok....

You've got to be bonkers not to have a back up.

It's stopped some malicious stuff. You have no idea if it's all been stopped. Not that you care by the sounds of it!

Re: The Pirate Bay
Same with me, falace.

I've pretty much been downloading since the very early days, and the likes Windows Defender, Microsoft Security Essentials, Avast, Avira or AVG have always stopped anything malicious.

Make sure your laptops have good virus protection as I guess most of you will have multiple viruses using these sites.
