Saw an interview with Rio earlier where he says how Moyes changed things at Man United a bit too quickly and tried to do it all himself. I think certain managers, like players, are a good fit for certain Clubs and not others. You can't argue that Moyes at Everton, Allardyce at Bolton and Curbs at Charlton did well. Not sure who would be a good fit here mind you but don't think Moyes would be the answer and his phone hasn't been ringing too regularly since he left!!

If you ignore the first four games, Pellers’ most successful period was the few months after he took over from Moyes.
Slaven’s most successful period was the first few months after he took over from BFS.
Zola’s most successful period was the season he took over from Curbs.
Coincidence? Probably not. The problem is that the managers who fix up our defence get accused of being anti football and never get accepted by the fans.

Football is clearly a bit crap at the moment, but under Moyes it was as bad as I've seen.
It's not just a results business for me, I actually want to go and be entertained with half decent football so that when we lose, i at least walk out thinking we've had a go.
Blew about £500 notes towards the end of moyes reign going to away games where he had no intention of playing for anything other than a 0-0 and we lost most of them without having any shots.
Allardyce and Moyes were both anti football.
Until we have new owners, it probably wont matter who runs the team unfortunately.

Saw all of our away games under him and although we nicked a few wins, he didn't try to win most of them.
Was yet another in the line of cunt managers who have thrown every cup game we're in.
For all his faults towards the end, slav was the only manager since pardew who took the cups seriously.
