When my missus dies,I’m gonna top myself so some other cunt can pay for both our funerals,I ain’t got kids,so they can chuck us in a ditch for all I care.

Re: Funeral plans
My mum and my brother both had small services. Wicker coffins, no religion, friends and family talking about them. Cremation.

Still wasn't cheap, but a lot cheaper than some of the extravagance I've seen in funerals.

Re: Funeral plans
LMH senior, who is worth a few bob, was planning to be a cadaver. Recently changed his mind, he now wants a direct funeral. £1000. They collect the corpse, no ceremony at the crematorium, not even sure if you can pick up the ashes the next day.

Asked the old boy where he'd like his ashes spread.

"Chuck them in the bin."

You're dead at that point, no point worrying about it.

Dying trade, I blame the coffin dodgers, you know who you are.

Re: Funeral plans
There are budget funerals. Theres no law you have to go through a funeral director. Pretty sure you are allowed to be buried in your own garden if you wish.

Told my kids they can have cremated or fed to the pigs/fishes/birds whatever parts of me can't be reused (either for transplants/medical science/training/paid-for necrophilia).

The daisies of the world can fucking push themselves up for once.

Funerals are bloody expensive. A real rip-off at a time when you're less able to shop around. The price of a coffin...
