Re: Next leader of The Labour Party

I think Starmer's only hope is to kick out the the Fifth Column, Momentum, stop crying about Brexit and publicly roast Owen Jones on a spit.

WTF did I do to cause all this?

Can explain why you ran away from KUMB whilst you're at it too.

Try and get your answer out without using the word Tory.

Remind us why you ditched Kronic for this username again?

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
I'll hand it to the the centrists though, they're fucking ruthless. I didn't think they'd stoop so low so as to use antisemitism as a political tool, but there's evidently no depth the scum won't sink to.

ChillTheKeel 5:01 Tue Apr 14 you are without doubt the thickest political poster on this site, Corbyn was miles away from "winning" the 2017 Election you utter tit, those votes you speak of would only have won key marginals, then he'd have had to rely on the support of every other minority party in Westminster just to block May

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/corbyn-election-results-votes-away-prime-minister-theresa-may-hung-parliament-a7782581.html

"Although Mr Corbyn was only 2,227 votes from having the opportunity to form a coalition government, Ms May’s Conservatives were only 287 votes from being able to form a working majority."

Both figures utter nonsense, for May and Corbyn.

Ha ha 2,227 votes away from winning... Ha ha... Lies, dammed lies and statistics

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Labour won't get power again unless upheld the class system and get a posh twat as leader. The Tories have such a grip on the working classes and the want to be middle classes that it's almost impossible for labour to be any kind of opposition. Boris the clown and the Tories can do what like and The Daily Mail will worship them like God's.

Agree about Momentum though. Utter weirdos.

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Peroni were you seriously asleep for the 2 elections Brown and Millband lost? Corbyn was under 2,227 votes away from winning the GE in 2017, despite the right wing saboteurs - which he then inexplicably decided to cosy up to and begin his downfall.

Why is Labour going backward in the polls when a new leader usually gets a surge? What makes you think a millionaire London-centric EUrophile liberal will win back the votes from the northern Labour heartlands? Look at the sate of the Lib Dems for example.

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
Exactly, speroni

There is no need for a spiteful aggressive core inside a political party, unless you like fascism and like pulverising and victimising your political adversaries

Chill

If they want to get in power, the Labour Party need to do the exact opposite of what you're after. You must see that, surely? It's the Regressive Left that need culling. That sinister Momentum lot.

I make you right that there has to be plenty of blood-letting before the party calms down and is anything like unified.

Most likely scenario is that those that elevated Corbyn and his ilk will either get bored or fuck off back to the Green Party or whichever faction they came from.

Cycles innit.

ChillTheKeel 4:15 Tue Apr 14
Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
If Starmer has any savvy, he'll call for the expulsion of the saboteurs on the right of the party. It's the only chance the LP has of uniting. But those saboteurs are his pals, his supporters, so he'll do fuck all, just like he's doing fuck all in holding this government to account, preferring to leave that job to Piers fucking Morgan.

Re: Next leader of The Labour Party
One dimensionally, braindead, you simple folk might think that was wot won it.

I think it had more to do with Leave voters not being impressed with how their vote and their views were being ignored, as much as not fancying Corbyn as Prime Minister
