If you like Gyllenhall then watch another underrated film called Nightcrawler.

Anyone lucky enough to have seen Ghostbusters yet? Must admit I’m nervous for it, such a massive fan of the original and hope they get the vibe right.

Zico, Jake Gyllenhaal is far from underrated. He is however very picky about the roles he takes, like his sister, Maggie. He's turned down some massive roles in all of those comic book films in favour of Indie cinema.

Still made many, many millions going down that route though, so I wouldn't feel too sorry for him.

I watched The Father with Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman. What I mean to say is they were acting in the film. I didn’t literally watch it together with them in the room.

Anyway, the film is very clever the way it fucks with your head. Brilliant performances all round.

CAM version of the Bond on Kodi, thought I’d watch the intro as they’re usually short and action packed, it’s 25 minutes before the credits roll. Longest intro I’ve ever seen, official! Good set up for the film though

Infinite with Mark Wahlberg , on Prime. Switched off after 40 minutes. Awful, just awful.

saw The Many Saints of Newark last night.

What to say. I like the Sopranos but not a massive fan. Still was intreging.

Was to tbh very disapointed as very little goes on for 2hrs. Alessandro Nivola almost carries the movie and I'm a big fan of him (Best Laid Plans 1999 is am excellent thriller in my top 20 a must see)

Of course plenty of Wokrness with the Black NY riots. Which has has fuck alll to do with the plot. Luckily as downloaded I could fw thru that shit.

Is the new Bond old school spy movie or 14 year old comic book?

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021)
Irish

The opening is superb and the cinematography throughout is excellent too

It’s quite an off kilter way to end the Craig era though - since casino royals they’ve tried to make it more gritty and real and this one is really fast laced and very jokey.

Agreed, the end is odd too - not just what happens but the reasoning behind it as well. And I’m still not exactly sure what remi malek’s character was actually trying to really do!

But it’s well worth watching and at the cinema - nearly three hours but it flew by

Sniper just home myself from the bond film. Really enjoyed it. The end was weird in a way. The opening 20 mins was stunning.

I proper love that Aston DB5. Perfection

Just seen No Time To Die

It’s really very good, and despite the long run time, it’s pretty relentless. The opening section is superb, and though the main focus is really a celebration of all things Craig/Bond as a send off, it’s still a great film

I’ll keep it spoiler free, but my main issue is still his falling for the dullest Bond girl ever in Madeleine Swann!

Decent new film on Netflix called "Guilty" with Jake Gyllenhall. Gyllenhall is very underated I think. If anyone hasn't seen "Zodiac" watch it.

Enjoyed teh Supersonic Oasis film... 2 funny fuckers for sure... loved it after Liam misbehaved on the Ferry that Noel told him not to bother with the band and to fuck off and support West Ham instead... will view the Knebworth one...

Rewatched the Shane Meadows Made of Stone about the Roses again the other night... great viewing that...

I was there too! On the Saturday. So it brought back a lot of memories personally as well. From queuing up to get the tickets in the first place.

Also, can't believe I didn't realise I was making the 1000th post on the thread. Amateur....

scorch, I was there. it was a great day but the Prodigy support set was the highlight. I enjoyed an Oasis concert at wembley four years later much more, even though Liam spent most of it behaving like a cunt :.)

Went to see Knebworth 96 the other night. I'm sure most people on here hate Oasis, but it was a good watch and reminded me what a big deal they and the shows were at the time.
