This coronavirus in China
anyone else worried? 9 dead so far.

CNY soon so the virus will spread very quickly if they cannot control it. It'll be in Europe by the end of CNY if not earlier.

is this the end of humanity?

You wasn't wearing a mask when you decided to have a lie down on the sand, MPI son.

;-)

And I continue to wear my mask, I have enjoyed not having so much as a cold in the last 18 months.

It works for me.

Re: This coronavirus in China
Block,

In short, all PCR tested all either had kids in school or children up to 20 who have been getting out and about all summer.

I actually think that herd immunity amongst a vaccinated nation is the way to go, but with careful eye on the number of hospitalisations and fatality numbers. because the alternative is countless lockdowns which Australia is suffering with.

Re: This coronavirus in China
MPI - are those who've tested positive done a PCR test?

The issue, in particular with the news about the Labs fucking up the test results, leaves me with very little confidence these results are accurate.

Re: This coronavirus in China
Been out and about quite a bit more in October masks wearers are now a small minority and giving people distance where and when you can is done.

Also hearing of positive tests from firends and colleagues on a daily basis (To date, all non fatal and mostly just uncomfortable)

Conclusion: We are mostly jabbed up to the max, and herd immunity is the governments way forward that doesn't even need a slogan or guidance because we all decided we are just getting on with life.

Re: This coronavirus in China
Thank you for your idiocy.

1) Southern border invasion by illegal immigrants from all round the world likely to exceed 2,000,000. Stop the trade war and open up for trade

This has nothing to do with illegal immigration, its like treating flu with spot cream.

2) Runaway crime in cities. Invest in education to give people hope for a future as part of normal society.

Wrong again, enforce laws, prosecute wrongdoers and impose meaningful sentences. Giulliani proved the 'broken window' program worked when he reduced crime in NY to record lows.

3) Runaway inflation. Run a balanced budget and spend to support employment in the private sector

Have a look at the money supply figures in USA (I think they moved on from M0 ages ago and are now at M5 or M6 probably), new monetary theory is causing the crazy inflation figures (which will get worse). Printing money in huge quantities while supply lines are squeezed means more money chasing less product, any economis can tell you this will lead to huge inflationary pressure. The only way out of this would be devaluation or a strong growth plan.

4) Afghan withdrawal debacle. Commit on the ground and stop killing people with military technology.

I agree, the US should have stuck with Trump's conditional withdrawal plan (or should never have been there in the first place)

5) CCP eating your lunch. Learn the Tao

Does that extend to the Lao Baixing, or the Uighur Muslims?

6) Container ships queueing for weeks on both seaboards. Open up for trade with the EU and watch how the CCP follows suit

The logjam is not caused by a problem in external trade, its caused by internal transport problems mainly, some of it down to vaccine mandates, some of it down to insane left wing green transport policies (California's CARB for one)

7) Empty shelves See 6.
8) Highest fuel prices for over a decade Keep going with Renewables

Renewables can not provide baseload energy requirements and certainly can not provide sufficient energy for USA transport requirements. There is barely enough lithium and cobalt in the world to produce EVs that could replace the UK vehicle fleet, let alone the US

9) Healthcare workers leaving their jobs due to vaccine mandates. They can work picking fruit and veg.

That's literally what happened in China under Mao's cultural revolution and the Great Leap forward which led to millions dying in China.

10) Pilots and airline crew walking out due to vaccine mandates. See 9, they need to get grounded.

See above

The Nutjob Right's offer as follows

1) Southern border invasion by illegal immigrants from all round the world likely to exceed 2,000,000. Build a wall and talk bollocks about how they're going to pay for it.
2) Runaway crime in cities. Hold a rally and wave some Confederate Flags
3) Runaway inflation. Cut taxes for the Wall St. and start a trade war with, well, everyone abroad except Russia
4) Afghan withdrawal debacle. Cut a deal with the Taliban over the head of the Afghan government when you know you are going to lose the presidential election
5) CCP eating your lunch. Go and visit North Korea and make a total tit of yourself.
6) Container ships queueing for weeks on both seaboards. Start a trade war with, well, everyone except Russia
7) Empty shelves See 6
8) Highest fuel prices for over a decade (That's enough - Ed.)
9) Healthcare workers leaving their jobs due to vaccine mandates. Tell them the pandemic is a hoax.
10) Pilots and airline crew walking out due to vaccine mandates. See 9. (You're fired - Ed.)

Nuts

He suffers from cognitive dissonance.

Still, don't worry, these transport problems in USA will be resolved, I'm sure the transport secretary, Pete Buttegieg is all over this.

Rios

Every word of your last post is a fact.

However Mong doesn’t deal in facts he’s too busy bloviating.

And no Mong, inflation isn’t transitory, not any more according to the Federal Reserve. It’s expected to be with us for some time. I wonder if that is gonna effect the eating habits of the poor and the middle class and those that live off a fixed income?

..."those faculties"...?

To what faculties in my post are you referring?

Or maybe you're replying to a post you wanted me to have made but it's actually all in that little mixed-up mind of yours.
