This coronavirus in China
anyone else worried? 9 dead so far.

CNY soon so the virus will spread very quickly if they cannot control it. It'll be in Europe by the end of CNY if not earlier.

is this the end of humanity?

Trundle. 64% of the population have had the booster, so statistically they would be more likely to catch Covid, especially a heavily mutated and highly transmittable strain like Omicron.

About 85% of over 40’s have had the booster, but they only account for 60% of infections. Another way of putting it, 15% of over 40’s account for 40% of infections.

GG Ardern has just followed orders. Whatever the CCP tell her to do, she has done. There is no lockdown in NZ, lol. Victoria and NT still have strict lockdowns in OZ I think.

"There is an avalanche of Covid bullshit propaganda hitting the world"

Interesting you say that. You were on here the other day saying the unvaccinated NEEDED to get vaccinated to stop the spread of the virus.

Well, it turns out that the it's the vaccinated that are spreading the virus, not the unvaccinated, just as I suggested.

I believe Australia has scrapped the zero covid approach now and have now gone with a UK style let's live with it approach, after allegedly double vaxxing approx 93% of their adult population. The pop there is only approx 25 mil so maybe in a few months Omicron would have burnt out, and/or most of the pop would have had it and they will be at the self immunity stage?

Genuinely curious about where Aus and NZ can go now.

Isn't it kind of commonly accepted even among many former ardent pro-lockdowners that omicron is everywhere now and everyone's gonna get it and that's basically acceptable?

How does zero covid tally with this?

Could omicron actually be *more* deadly in these countries than it is elsewhere *because* they've not had the other variants?

That crazy woman President or whatever she is has said people must isolate for 24 (TWENTY FOUR) days if they test positive or they’re a household contact.

Twenty four days? Jesus. Everyone else is dropping it to 5.

My wife's friend says loads there won't have the vaccine but the government claims 93% are doubled, she doesn't believe it.

So maybe a lot already realise it.

This could be a wake up call for the young, fit and healthy over there.

They'll all be getting the virus and wondering what the vaccines are actually for.

Re: This coronavirus in China
Aus & NZ are setting themselves up for a tsunami of cases, whatever way it goes now.

The vaccine may well keep the hospitalizations manageable, but it will still knock a huge number of people simultaneously sideways, paralysing both countries simply by the number of people throwing sickies.

pickled is inviting people, of his own free will, to post up a link to a site that may possibly contain information identifying himself in the real world.

No libel lawyer on the planet will touch a claim based on that, although a shady solicitor may well relieve him of several thousand pounds in telling him just that.

Popcorn, anyone?

Gopnik

People on here do not grass or dox each other, its an extension of normal life of people our age.

You are very easy to find on social media, mainly because of the amount of information you have posted up probably when pissed.

Nobody is going to do what you want and post up your YT links, but you can if you want - its a free country.
