I know, he got injured playing last week. If we had of recalled him the week before when our bench was composed of 3 CB, a LB, Ajeti and a 18 year old winger then he wouldnt be.

He's injured!

Trundle

The 3 at the back? Yeah fair enough but he has been playing wingers lately. Just mad to have someone in that good form when you see the current state of our squad and not have him playing for us.

He also has pace, which is what we need most at the moment

I find every aspect of it utterly baffling to be honest

Moyes doesn't play with wingers in his preferred formation, so Diangana wouldn't get much of a look in under him, I would have thought.

That's Yarmalenko's days numbered then!

Have we seen enough of Hugill to suggest Ajeti is better?

Dont get why Moyes hasnt recalled Diangana

But also dont get why he signed Hugill but is now happy for him to play somewhere else?

Re: The great escape would never have happened without the January investment!
I know a few will likely cunt me off for saying this, but:

if we somehow avoid relegation this season, Brady and her dildos will convince themselves that it was a job well done. And we'll be lined up for more of the same shit next season, and if somehow we don't then go down next season, then same shit again season after,

But make no mistake, It's not a question of when we go down, it's simply a question of whether it's this season, next season or the season after.

On this basis, surely it's better to take the medicine sooner rather than later - and go down this season

Could of been that, but the main point is the money went straight back into strengthening the team instead of owners bank accounts.

I´m an eternal optimist Tex

New owners to come in before next weekend, 4 players bought before the deadline

Well it´s the best case scenario

The worst case scenario is they sign no one and we are stuck with them still

Too Late...Too Late...
Moyes don't care...will still get paid...
Relegation is almost certain with this squad...
But Moyes should have done better...
Yesterday was the final nail for me...
FA Cup...Home Stadium...almost 60k attendance...WBA 8 changes/reserves...
Moyes and Players should be ashamed with performance...
Only ones to escape from shame ...Randolph...Rice...Noble...Antonio...Ogbonna...
Doomed to Championship...
SGB...Fiddling...Hands DEEP IN POCKETS while being relegated...

Wasn’t Hartson and Kitson signed on the back of Slaven Bilic being sold to Everton although he stayed with us until the end of the season if memory serves me correctly.

It stopped in March but the same principle AND we was told there was no money.......hence they waited to see our season going to shit before finding the funds......turned it around......and that was the ultimately tight TERRY BROWN.

....it was a great escape and proof investment done correctly works.

Re: The great escape would never have happened without the January investment!
The Daves have agreed to release funds in early February to make some purchases* Hartson/Kitson style

There was no transfer window back then. It didn't come into force until five years later. H&K were in fact bought a few days apart in February 1997.
