Jon Moss referee AGAIN tonight...
Moss is once again referee for us against Liverpool having so beautifully ensured it was 12 vs 11 in the first game against them.

How can it be right that the same ref gets both fixtures for two teams in a single season?

Far as I'm concerned it's now irrelevant what team or tactics we play tonight, how well we play, or how badly they play.

Moss ensures nothing but a Liverpool victory will happen.

Massive fix (IMO)

Re: Jon Moss referee AGAIN tonight...
I have to say I thought he was okay tonight.

He had opportunities and to give decisions to them and didn’t - the Salah dive, the alleged handball, etc.

I don’t think he’s a great referee but he did not play a part in our downfall tonight.

Apart from not giving us a free kick in the first half for a foul on Anderson, not booking Mane for diving and not giving us a corner at the end. I suppose we can call that a result.

Erh, it's like on every match thread.

Not quite sure why it's 'bizarre'. Moss has previous and the match thread in our last defeat by them was full of invective about the bias of his officiating.

*gives up looking for a bookie offering 100-1 against us winning*

*starts looking for one offering 1000-1 against us winning*

What a bizarre thing to be complaining about. The ref will be impartial.

They will beat us because they're better than us.

This thread will be of greater interest tomorrow lets face it. And I didn't say another ref and we'd get a result...but that Moss will 100% guarantee Liverpool the win.

They'll get all the 50/50s, if we're holding out by about the half hour mark expect a big decision to go their way, and if by some miracle we overcome it and we're back in contention by about 75 mins, expect Moss to find a way to make sure Liverpool stay on track.

That's my prediction.

Re: Jon Moss referee AGAIN tonight...
So any other ref and we could give them a game? Sky and the premiership must be worried that Moyes will use his tactical nous so they have appointed Moss to ensure a Liverpool win, heard it all now, just accept we are shit and will get a good thumping, full stop.

I really can't see how the ref matters. Such a shitty chance we have of getting anything it barely is even relevant.

Would personally prefer Klopp to take the whistle.
The positive thing is that Moss is less likely to be reffing us in one of our winnable games now.

You think he will take the piss out of our player for being in the relegation zone.

I would imagine playing 10 defenders, 8 of them full backs, will contribute more to our inevitable defeat than jon moss

Probably the only band member to find a respectable job after Culture Club broke up so fair play to him.
