The games suspended. Good for West Ham United or bad.
For me positive as fuck. 3 weeks to get players fit and Bowen on form. 3 weeks to drum in their heads that squad should not be fighting relegation.

Negative, the momentum of protests Hammers United had planned.

Moyes does not to be a genius. The players need to wake up and not only attack but with the sharpness of Bowen and Fabs fitter, then all will be fine.
So I am happy for the squad to reflect on where we are FFS.

Manuel, so you're 'taking the piss' because I said he's got a few quid instead of looking up on wikipedia to see the exact amount. Right. I'm sure even if everyone disagrees with the point, no one would be that pathetically anal about it.

For the record, I wasn't responding to you initally, but given you are a narcissist of the highest order, I'm not surprised you thought I was.

I reckon you need to get out a bit more. Especially with what's currently going on.

Fucking hell there's some clutching at straws here.......integrity? the money in the game threw that one out decades ago.......

.....has everyone forgotten FIFA is corrupt?

Yes, it's for these so called great minds to work out, that's why they are in the jobs they are in. To not complete a season is basically unthinkable.

maybe there won't be a 20/21 season.
maybe it gets cut back to just league games and the CL.

but you have to finish 19/20 first.

ED - You have an extremely, shocking habit of putting words into peoples mouths. I don't know if you do it o purpose, but you really should stop.

I was mocking you for saying 200 mil is a 'few quid' that was it, so fuck off with your bullshit.,

Re: The games suspended. Good for West Ham United or bad.
goose - yea that's what I've been saying. Why would you start new season without the current one being finished, just because a calendar says so? The season has to be finished for the integrity of the game and to avoid all the legal shenanagin's that would inevitably follow.

goose 3:04 Mon Mar 16
Re: The games suspended. Good for West Ham United or bad.
in my opinion they HAVE to finish this season and worry about the next one if/when they have one.

10 games left? they can do that in maybe 7 weeks.

delay the start of next season - either agree a shortened league or scrap both cup competitions and the winter break. and maybe scrap the international stuff.

Does having £200mil quid make you immune to the Coronavirus, Dancer?

"The season must be completed in its entirety for Liverpool, the European qualification and relegation to be confirmed.

That's it no ifs or buts that's the PL rules which all 20 members/stakeholders agree to when they take their 1 share."

The crux is that its what ALL the clubs agree to do. They could hold a vote and change the rules as they wish.

I dont think it's set in stone at all. The issue is one of compensation for some teams either being relegated prematurely or missing out on european competition. If they can come to some agreement (relegated clubs get a load more money etc..). Then they'll just end the league as it is.

Voiding the season will leave a bad taste in the mouth of teams like Wolves and Sheffield UTD who could get CL places. There will need to compensation to avoid law suits.

Simplest idea is just to play the last 10 games as quickly as possible when its safe to do so. The following season doesnt matter, what matters is this season.

I'm afraid Liverpool fans, players etc may have to swallow the idea that they will not win their first title for 30 years. I genuinely feel sorry for them - I like Klopp - but this is a global health crisis and, to be blunt, dealing with it effectively ought to supersede any posturebollocks about football, finance and favouritism (oooh, let's let Leeds and West Brom up, but nobody else).

Void the entire season and kick-off a fresh season, everywhere, when it is most appropriate.

Besides, the way things are going, it's looking unlikely that any matches will be allowed until June/July at the earliest now.

Re: The games suspended. Good for West Ham United or bad.
You can't promote some of the teams who look mathematically like they would go up unless you do it for all of them. Clubs gamble on going up with big signings on big money with promotion clauses etc. If it was still possible for that gamble to pay off, how could you deny them that whilst awarding it to someone else who has played perhaps easier matches already?

Void the season has to be the only way, it's still a bit unfair to some who almost had it but generally unfair on everyone equally

Furthermore, all this 'Liverpool were bound to win it' stuff isn't right. Yes they were bookies certs but so we're Tottenham to come 2nd when they ended up 3rd not long ago. If you HAVE to award Liverpool the title even though it wasn't mathematically in the bag then you HAVE to relegate Norwich for the same reason. And nobody else? That's bollocks.

Wot he said. Agree with every word of that. Even "bollocks". Although I might have added the word "fucking" before "bollocks" - just for effect.

Just to confirm.

The season must be completed in its entirety for Liverpool, the European qualification and relegation to be confirmed.

That's it no ifs or buts that's the PL rules which all 20 members/stakeholders agree to when they take their 1 share.

They all know this that is why all the Liverpool pundits etc are shotting themselves.

Are you simple?

Contracts are dated. Once they reach the end date, they cease.

Re: The games suspended. Good for West Ham United or bad.
So many problems no matter what you do, voiding seems the fairest way but then what happens to player contracts? does this year just not count for them?

Is Diangana automatically back on loan with West Brom next season as they took a big punt with him and that other lad on loan to get themselves promoted and it looked to be working.

If that lot have to self isolate, they could still avoid each other for a few months I reckon.

Let’s have a bit of context, son.

Eerie - A few quid? The Guinea pig has got more money than you would even be able to accumulate by playing monopoly for the rest of your life.
