Daily Quiz anyone?
If you are stuck at home and bored like me.
How about exercising the old grey cells?

I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature.

I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers.

You mark your own answers and post your score.

I will then record the scores and at the end of the "lockdown" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves)

Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions.

Any interest?

Happy Birthday Zico and, yes, the weather is shite. Have a good day nonetheless.

Have a fair few today and managed a big fat 11 yesterday. Never thought I paid much attention to tennis.

So on that irritating note let's make it more depressing with a politics quiz!! If we do stay on the golf course answers won't be till this evening.

I know tennis is not a strong subject for some but it is Wimbledon fortnight! To hopefully make it easier the answers are from 1-10 in alphabetical order by way of surnames.

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
Far Cough, Interesting, just found that he was called Butch and also found an article written by someone who was critical of him who called him Butcher. Also stumbled across this very old thread that discusses it -

https://www.pprune.org/aviation-history-nostalgia/397714-sir-arthur-bomber-harris-butch-butcher.html

I'm no expert so for the sake of fairness Bomber, Butch or Butcher I'll give a point so if that's the case give me an updated score.
