Daily Quiz anyone?
|
If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells?
I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature.
I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers.
You mark your own answers and post your score.
I will then record the scores and at the end of the "lockdown" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves)
Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions.
Any interest?

Mad Dog - No need to apologise. I've looked at some of those who won and in what year quizzes and so tough to strike a balance between tough and too easy if you give too much info. It's like I can tell you who won every FA Cup between 1973 and 1998 but after than no idea bar maybe 2006!! Really appreciate you doing Thursdays it really helps.

I also knew a good few names but as for putting them with a year, I would have just been guessing. Although I did know Rice got it last year.

I got quite a few but had no idea about which year and just got lucky with Cresswell and guessed Rice for the last 3 years.
So 4 for me.

Sorry MD got back too late to have a go. Would have got a few of the players but might only have struck lucky with a year or two.

Ha ha Westside, that did make me laugh.
Rios - Hence the "allegedly" as it may be a myth. However I am giving you a bonus point because indeed Dolly Parton, although not an actor, as such, did indeed also partake as you said.

6 for me, thanks.
Which is rather concerning as I got a lot less in a "light hearted" quiz, than I did, in a quiz about executions.
Especially, as I'm staunchly opposed, to the death penalty.
