How are you coping with the absence of sport so far?
I love Saturday Mornings, especially during Spring, Summer. Loads of football and F1, cricket and racing during the day etc. Events like the Masters, British Open, TDF, Wimbledon etc etc

When sports was initially cancelled I thought "Fuck, I will miss this, big time". This morning, what with all that is going on I am surprised how little I am actually missing it. anyone else feel the same or are you going through withdrawal symptoms and the delirium tremens?

Mike Ashley hiking prices at Sports Direct. A dartboard delivered for all the keen home athletes has gone up £10 today. Dumbbells £15.

I suppose he's got save House Of Fraser as well, but...

What. A. Cnt.

I'd get pay-per-view to see a bunch of Lonsdale'd chavs kick him about.

Fact is sport as we knew it won't be back to anything like it was until summer 2021 at the earliest and even then it will look massively different with many clubs / teams / venues across all forms of sport having gone tits up. Grim times.

Football is a massive part of my life; playing , watching on TV and live matches.

Since kids have grown up, I’d watch our team Saturday and Sunday mornings and watch premier league.

I’d play Monday and Thursday.

Even close season we would have Sikh Footy tournaments every other week, and struggle for the free weeks.

Sad life I know.

At least I’ve got Hugh on here to keep me entertained.

If your'e a fan of 70's football, type 'match of the season 1972' into you tube. Some great memories including the swamp of a pitch at Derby.

Not noticed it really, couldn't really give a fuck about the football or rugby and even less cricket. Euro 2020, couldn't give a toss either. Shame about Olympics though quite enjoy that

Really baffled how so many people literally have nothing else to do in their spare time than watch football on telly.

It's funny how the even the cunt defending what the game has become has to use the word 'like' when right up to it's peak, football was 'loved' by those who followed it.

He's waining he just don't want to admit it or worse doesn't realise.......

I can easily not miss watching football. I don't miss that at all even though I follow it. However, very much missing the loads of cricket that takes places at this time of year, IPL and England in Sri Lanka would have been good. Love watching the golf on Sky so gutted there is no Masters to watch and also missing horse racing.

We really need some alternatives bread and circuses before any of the horrific symptoms of free thought kick in.

Maybe the New Order will create a new Solitaire Superleague for the distractoball enthusiasts, participation will be voluntary with an option to opt out with a bullet in the back of the head.

Re: How are you coping with the absence of sport so far?
Dont give a shit about football but do miss the rugby. Pissed off that still expected to pay sports channel fees regardless of no fucking live sport being broadcast and too prohibitive to cancel contract.

You do know you can pause your Sky contract without penalty?

Ha ha

I see Euro 2020 will retain that title even when played in 2021. Obviously there is masses of merchandise that’s already been manufactured
