None of the adverts show social distancing either!

Offered to send them pictures, made no difference

Full marks to Asda for their new adverts.

Just the right tone.

I think it's brilliant playing 'can't do that anymore' bingo!

Too close, too many of you in one place, obviously not the same family, don't touch, don't walk down the street together smiling...

Catching up on a bit of The Sweeney.

Trusted Trader sponsor evenings on ITV4.
Bet they're regretting that one.

A few more weeks inside, and I'll be dreaming of a holiday.

They're just making sure I'll be dreaming of a P&O cruise*.

Dunno if it's a soap normally on, but BBC1 now showing Terry Wogan! In food markets and restaurants! In Bath!

1. Very dead
2. All closed
3. Locked down.

Fuck me. Cheers Beeb. I only stopped work for late lunch and Countdown is now cancelled! Country. Dogs.

Re: Pointless adverts still on TV/Radio
Bbc have plenty of shows that haven’t been seen for years that they could replace them with (though they are probably saving them for that pay channel they’ve set up with ITV so we can pay for them again).

How about
Love Thy Neighbour
It Ain’t hot Mum

Or that one where Spike Milligan plays a Pakistani

Re: Pointless adverts still on TV/Radio
It's funny how people are cheering the cancellation of soaps on TV too. While I don't watch em many do and enjoy. Just cos it's easy drama.

They're likely to replaced by:
1. More endless news TV... which is more depressing
2: Cooking TV involving ingredients you can't buy
3. Travel TV about places you can't go!

"And now, replacing the scheduled EastEnders... It's Rick Stein's Italian Odyssey"!!! Fucking worse.

I think 'pointless, normal' ads serve a great function in keeping some things 'normal' in these times, when you don't want to watch continuous bad news.

What would the alternative be. Endless government information films?

"arrogant dog wankers"

I believe this is still allowed as long as you maintain a safe social distance and do not indulge in groups of more than 2 at a time. Something had to replace dogging, and Jordan's got to earn a quid somehow.

Re: Pointless adverts still on TV/Radio
Given the number of people suddenly in parks of late, don't see any problem with adverts for dogshit bags. Indeed: possibly more important than ever: don't want the NHS having to deal with diseases caused by arrogant dog wankers on top of c19.

Some reactions on WHO to all this, I find very strange. And troubling.

During Hawksby and jacobs yesterday I think it was I was dozing and am almost sure I heard and ad for biodegradable poop bags for dogs, I thought now THERE is a priority for everyone

There’s one about Broadband that tells me the future has never looked so exciting.

Not an advert but after the months of rain we've had weather reporters announcing any 'beautiful sunshine' over the next few weeks might be struggling a bit with the irony of it all.
