SATURDAY
ASTON VILLA vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS (1230)
Villa are scraping points here and there – valuable, certainly, but unconvincing. They remain odds-on for one of the relegation places, the knowledge of which rarely boosts confidence. Wolves’ confidence, meanwhile, is sky high and they have a tantalising incentive today to push above Man U into fifth place. Form and everything else strongly suggests that they’ll come away with the points this afternoon. A small but oh-so-precious boon for our survival hopes. Away win.

SUNDAY
WATFORD vs SOUTHAMPTON (1630)
Nigel Pearson has a reputation that undermines his quality. His appointment saw the lowly Hornets shoot up a couple of places, but their recent fixtures have been marked by a severe case of inconsistency. The Saints are as good as safe, yet their recent fixtures too have done little to instil delight in their supporters. So this one could go any of three ways without rocking expectations, although Watford will rightly see this as a massive opportunity. Draw.

MONDAY
CRYSTAL PALACE vs BURNLEY (2000)
The only one of these four fixtures that neither impact nor interest us. Two mid-table teams that have done enough to secure another season in the top flight and now have nothing further to play for. Draw.

TUESDAY
BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs MANCHESTER UNITED (2015)
Well, four points from the last possible six – there can be few who saw that coming. Brighton have confounded their critics in the last week and given their unlikely hopes for survival an enormous boost. They still have some tricky games to play, and will have to maintain their form to prevent a return of the heebie-jeebies and a fall back into the bottom five. Their visitors today will consider the season a failure if they don’t finish in the top five. Both have a strong incentive to put in a performance. Away win.

Norwich v Brighton?

Do we want a Norwich win here to keep Brighton down with us? or would a Norwich win deflate them further for our game on the horizon?

Man Utd v Bournemouth

Looking for a Man Utd masterclass in destroying Bournemouth here!

Chelsea v Watford

Hoping a wounded Chelsea team will beat Watford but the Hornets are another bogey team for Chelsea! Lets see what Watford are made of in light of recent recent results!

Liverpool have undeniably been brilliant for the last two seasons, but it is true that they have rode their luck and got some lucky wins in their amazing winning run to the title this season.

We should have got at least a point away against them but they got lucky by Fabianski having a rare off night and throwing two in. They were lucky to beat Sheffield United and Norwich and have had a lot of 1-0 and odd goal wins this season which could easily have been draws.

They are still on course to finish with 104 points if they win their remaining games, which is remarkable.

Best result is Amazon choosing this season to film an 8 part series on Spurs. Should be a good watch!

Good result for us, they will win against Villa now.

Re: Saturday and coming days football
They have won 28 out of 32 games, scored 70 goals and conceded 25.
Think you need a bit of luck (if that’s what you want to call it) to post those numbers.

Probably not a bad thing for them to have a shit game last night.
We need them to bounce back and kick the crap out of Villa next time out on Sunday.

Re: Saturday and coming days football
They only won the Champions League last season, and are 20 points clear in the league. Have one of the best front three, goalkeeper, fullbacks and centre half in the world. Apart from that, they are overrated.

Hopefully this heavy defeat will wake them up and they get back to business v Villa and Bournemouth.

Overrated?? Hahaha..fucking hell. They are probably the best side in the world, in fact, officially they are.

Agree with Claret...
Team and Klopp somewhat overrated...
They've had some poor performances ...yet got away with the Title...
Well done City...tore them apart... could have been 6...or more...

Stroppy flustered Klopp...

They didn't look clicked off, City were clinical first half, it was quite even, didn't watch second...

Hopefully Liverpool haven’t clocked off for the season.

Re: Saturday and coming days football
I know they’re the runaway champions, but this Liverpool team are a bit average sometimes. Losing to Watford, should’ve lost to us, lucky not to lose against Everton, only beat Sheffield United because of a keeper fuck up, and now this 4-0 loss tonight.

Bournemouth will be lucky to get another point looking at their run in. We have a far easier run in than Villa and Watford

I reckon 36 points will keep us up
