Women's World Cup 2023
Awarded to Australia/New Zealand. Not really a big deal I grant you (unless you are an AB fan and have just learnt that the previous WWC attracted around 20% more global viewers than the last RWC) Anyway I digress - the point of this diatribe is to record my low opinon of the cunts at the English FA who, rather than support Commonwealth countries, pitched for the Colombian bid......have these wankers forgooten it was Colombia that tried to fit up Bobby Moore. Shame on you Greg Clarke: and the excuse that they were part of the UEFA protocol doesn't wash, you are supposed to have left Europe!

Re: Women's World Cup 2023
What a strange post.

At least it'll be in at stupid o'clock in the morning so there will be no danger of accidentally seeing this dross and having to listen to slags and other assorted fuckwits commenting that women should get paid as much as the men even though they're all about the level of some kids having a kick around in the park in terms of their skill and athleticism.

She played 2 songs before the game with a bunch of dancing cricket bats and one of the songs again on stage with the Australian team at the end.
I’d ask for your money back Ronald

"They managed to get 86,000 to the MCG for the Womens T20 World Cup .."

Actually, they got 86,000 for a Katy Perry concert with a game of cricket tagged on.

Re: Women's World Cup 2023
I’m in favour of anything that encourages young girls to play sport.
The womens game is improving but apart from in the USA it is still financed by the men’s game.
They are starting to attract their own sponsors for WOMENS PRODUCTS but doubt they will ever attract football fans to pay real attention or actually pay to watch.
Suspect it will be a success in Aust/NZ .... but no one will be publishing gate takings figures.
They managed to get 86,000 to the MCG for the Women’s T20 World Cup but imagine the tournament still lost money as a stand alone event.

Womens world cup?

For a second I thought this would be something someone somewhere would care about.

Expect sky and BBC to try and feature it like it's important.

A World Cup held in Antarctica would be amazing.

Re: Women's World Cup 2023
I understand Europe as a block voted for Colombia because they wanted to ‘promote womens football in S America’.

Fair call but then can’t really complain if England outrageously keeps getting overlooked for World Cups because of the need to ‘promote football in the USA, South Africa, Qatar , Antarctica & Syria’.

Are you still angry with Germany because of WWII?
